Junk and false advertising or wrong product sent.
All 3 pictures show a headband. Description of contents says headband. CAME WITH NO HEADBAND!! What am I supposed to do, glue the damn thing to my forehead?! Then the button seems to work when it wants to. Pressed it a million times, held it in, tried 8,000 combinations of button pushes and holds, only the red light would come on. A day later, it works great. Like, seriously?! Wtf. Sending this junk back.

Bright, compact, and easy to use
I've been a fan of Princeton Tec for years. This light does not disappoint. I love the red LED for walking to my tree stand in the dark, as it saves my night vision and doesn't spook game. The swivel function works great when wearing with a billed hat (baseball style cap). The battery compartment cap is greatly improved over previous models. Brightness is perfect. If it's not bright enough for you, shop for your lights by the lumens ratings. Want a brighter light? Princeton Tec offers them. Doesn't get much simpler than that.

Difficult to opperate
I've owned many Princeton flashlights over the years. Some had issues or lived a short life.Only with a lot of playing around with the switch on this Tec Byte could I get it to turn on and cycle through. However, in a pinch when I need it most, it didn't work. Fortunately I retained my old and heavy cheapo unit from Harbor Freight, which I'm still using. May never buy Princeton again.

Compact headlamp
I use this for running instead of a heavier one I already have for hiking. The hiking headlamp uses 3AAAs, and the hinge is a a little loose from age. This princeton tec only uses two AAs and has a stiff hinge to set a fixed angle for jogging. There are only three modes: dim red, medium white, and full white. There are no flashing modes. This is perfectly fine for my jogging on sidewalks purpose.

Might of got a lemon
Bright red light. Very dim white light. Also tends to fade out after a half hour of using it. Nothing like my old style Byte headlamp. Only like is you don't have to go through all modes to shut off. Would have returned but missed the returning window. ::::: Well update on review. Contacted Princeton tec and they are going to replace defective product. GREAT customer service!

Good brightness and battery life
This is my 3rd Princeton headlamp and I love them! They are priced right, well made, good brightness, good battery life, and the switches work well. I’ve dropped them on hard floors and banged into things with them and they keep working. My cabin is off grid so I use them all the time. I use them walking dogs, doing yard work and they’ve worked well for years

No battery lock anymore
I do not like the new design without the battery lock on it. The older one has a lock on the battery compartment that will maniacally disconnect the battery so it doesn't discharge while not in use

$20 worth it
my previous light (also pev), died after 10s of events and hiking in the dark. This new unit is totally worth it for the price, you will not be disappointed.
