This is a review for zipelo R134a Quick Coupler Adapter, Adjustable Low/High R134a Adapters with 1/4" Male Flare Quick Connector, HP and LP Connectors for R134a Car AC Valve Access Systems, Car Accessories.This is a part of our HVAC toolset we don’t take care of like we should. We just generally expect the to work, until they don’t. That causes a bad day. I don’t do a lot of HVAC and as such, my set just sets there and the seals get old and hard. I tied into my vehicle to check things and it just went haywire with the leak. Luckily, I disconnected my original set before too much had leaked out. I replaced them with these and all was good. They connected easily as well as sealed and all was good again. I was able to replace the lost R134. I now have a good replacement set.These connectors are a good replacement set. The screw down moved smoothly and all the seals held as expected. I replaced the lines as well at the same time so I have, with the exception of the gauges, a brand-new set up.

I occasionally work on refrigeration or vehicles outside of my normal HVAC work, so having these adapters to just attach to my existing equipment makes servicing other type of equipment very easy. For their price point these seem very well made and work pretty well but have a pretty tight fit. This will hopefully loosen over time with some use but the tolerances may be pretty tight considering how tough it is to get the adapters attached to the service ports.

Works as advertised. I feel like depending on your equipment these might leak if the threads are long or the locking shaft is too long. In my case the threads were borderline perfect in length so tightening it down initially felt like I wouldn't make it seal but I did. I am sure there is a standard out there and with anything made in china there are some hits or misses. For me these worked like they should but I get a feeling from others leaving reviews that they also had a close call or had to really press them on or crank them down to make them work.

These R-134A refrigerant adapters for cars are decent. At first, I was having difficulty getting the low side (blue) fitting attached to the truck, but I was able to get it on. It is very tight, and I feel that tolerance is too tight, but it may wear in and be perfect. The high side connector fits perfect. I don't do automotive HVAC work all the time so having adapters keeps me from having to have a whole set of gauges or hoses for that work. I am able to use the manifold set I already have and just clean between the different refrigerant types I use them for. I like how you can open and close these adapters as my previous set didn't have that feature.

I need to add a very small amount of R134a to my refrigerator but the way the piercing valve is installed I don't have clearance to get a hose comfortably onto it, so I really needed a right-angle adapter. I only needed the low side, but the high side adapter seems to be constructed to the same quality as the low side, and I had no issues with the low side adapter at all. I had zero leakage, undetectable by my leak detector. It was easy to install and got the job done in a much better way considering the space constraints.I'm very happy with how well this worked.

If you use your AC gauge set frequently the ends wear out. I'm not sure what goes wrong inside them but you have to open and close them over and over to get them to open. If you aren't aware that they have failed it will give you false readings.You could probably pull them apart and rebuild whatever has worn out, but it's much easier to just get a set of these.These are perfect replacements for most automotive gauge sets. So far they have held up to several uses. Now that it's cold outside I won't get as many chances to test them, but I'll put them through the paces again in the summer.Great value, very high quality.

This was a much needed replacement cover. It fit without any adjustments.

I used these adapters to replace some older, more expensive brand-name adapters. They worked right, and seem to be made well.
