Beautiful Landscape Lighting - solid and well made!
For years I used LED solar lights for my landscape lighting. I bought expensive ones that worked well. However, the problem with solar lights is that they need the sun! Which meant in the winter when days are short in the mid-Atlantic region, lights would not last long.I bought a set of 8 of these lights along with 2 spotlights. I ended up installing 6 path lights and one up light on a 60-watt transformer. I liked them so well; I bought 4 more lights and installed them in my back yard along with the left-over spotlight to light up a Budda statue. I’ve received many compliments about the lights which are attractive whether on or off. The path lights are only 3 watts each so a 60-watt transformer can run quite a few lights on a 100-foot cable run.The supplied cable taps were easy to use. You just split the wire, leaving the insulation in place, unscrew the connector and slide the cable into the slots where they will be pierced by a blade in the slot. I pulled that in tightly so ensure the insulation was pierced before screwing the cap on snuggly, The cables from the light work differently. You unscrew them almost all the way off and then insert the end of the cable through the screw cap where it engages with a metal connector at the bottom. Screw the cap in tightly and then give a good tug to all of the connections to make sure they are solid. I had a few come undone so they could have been a future problem. Better to check while installing! The transformer also comes with a light sensor so that the lights will come on automatically. The lights can be set to stay on until daylight or set to turn off a 4, 6 or 8 hours after coming on. I opted not to use the light detector and instead plugged my transformers into smart plugs. And then I programmed the plugs to turn on 1 hour before sunset and to turn off at 1 AM – works great.Installation1. Lay out your lights before installing.2. Make sure you have about a 20% reserve in the transformer. So, a 60-watt transformer can support about 48 watts of lighting. The spotlights are 12 watts each, while the path lights are 3 watts. So, if you want a lot of spot/flood lighting you may need to step up the transformer wattage,3. Once you have your wire laid out, place the lights where you want them and leave a little extra cable at each light in case you need to move them later.4. Wire in the first light (no need to worry about polarity when wiring). Turn the power on and check the first light. If all is working well, turn the power off and wire in the next light. I did this with each light. If only the last light is not lighting, recheck the connection for that light.5. Once everything is working, bury the cables (easy to do in mulched beds, more difficult in grass.6. Wait for sunset and enjoy.

So far so good!
Received in perfect condition with good packaging. Appears well-made, and looks nice. Easy installation. They've only been installed for a few days, but so far they are working well.

Great Metal lights
Excellent quality, metal, performance. After studying most wired lights these were on my list to buy. Highly recommend. Do not waste money on solar lights today. There day will come but not quite there yet.

Caps are held on poorly
Love the wonderful light display BUT the caps/shades are held on by thin plastic and they blow off on windy days or when animals bump them.

Nice!
Super easy to install. Make sure you purchase wire separately. Even someone with zero DIY skills can install these. The hardest part is separating the two wires that the light cord has to attach to without cutting through the insulation. The directions are clear and easy to understand. If you can get dressed in the morning and have a knife to strip the end of the wires to attach them to the transformer, you can install this whole set. It took me about an hour and a half from start to finish. The lights are good quality as well. The transformer is very easy to understand for setting up the timer. I’m buying another set for my son’s house.

Lasted 3 months
System lasted 3 months and 5 of the 8 lights went out. Checked all connections everything looked good. There is supposedly a 1yr warranty on this set so emailed company (many times) and told them the set was defective. I boxed it up and wanted to return for a new one and they asked for pictures? Like they didn't believe me. I paid $160 for this set and they should replace it because 2/3 of the set is not working. They are not responding to me and making unreasonable requests. Would not recommend this product it is junk!!!

High Quality Pathway Lights
The media could not be loaded. The Sunvie pathway lights are extremely well made. All of the parts were made from aluminum including the ground stakes. I have bought other pathway lights in the past and they have cheaper out with plastic parts which causes the lights to fall apart very quickly. These lights are built to last.Setup was very quick. It took less than 30 minutes to assemble all 8 lights and using the supplied quick connects I was able to wire all the lights in around 30 minutes. The ground stakes are built with a small bracket on the side which makes it very easy to hammer the stakes into the ground. The transformer that comes with the lights only took a couple minutes to setup. You connect the two wires from your pathway lights to the transformer, and connect the daylight sensor. After that plug the transformer n, and scroll through the lighting trine options. These lights were a breeze to setup, and are built to last.
