I would not recommend doing so if the liquid is from a different company/brand.

No it doesn't remove scratches, but it does keep it from breaking. Nasa produced it. Wouldn't have a phone without it!

Q: It doesn't come out in "drops" so how do you know you put the right amount? Is it safe to add a 2nd layer?

I don't know that there's a set amount to put on, so long as you get a decent film of material on it. And if you do two applications I would do one completely, maybe wait awhile, then do a second. I don't think it will hurt to do so.

Q: Will it fill hairline cracks in my screen?

Some buyers have reported that it did fill very small hairline scratches but we don't claim that it will.
