7.5 FT White Metal Arch for Wedding Party Bridal Prom Garden Floral Decoration

Q: Can it be bent to fit in a more narrow space? I need it to go in a 43 inch opening.

It's very thin flimsy metal so I think it would kink if you tried to bend it.

Q: will this stand up on floor

It does stand on the floor but is not super sturdy, so it shouldn’t be depended on for support or be in high traffic areas unless you can secure it or maybe hide something around the base.That said, we used it inside with no problem for decorative flowers and foliage

Q: How many yards of material should I get for this particular size of arch

We bought this and used 5 yards of tulle. Think it looks great. I would say if you are going to use a different amount it would be more, not less than that. But it is covered nicely. Also I might advise you to be prepared to have some way to anchor it in the ground, at least temporarily, as it will blow over after being decorated if not anchored. I used some half inch conduit I got from Home Depot cut into sections and hammered slightly into the ground.

Yes you can leave out a straight section to make it shorter.
