Great quality product
I am fairly new to Tufting, had a wooden frame and let’s just say it didn’t end well, I purchased the aluminum frame, this thing is great, very strong and durable. The plastic material pins are surprisingly strong. Love this frame !!!! I use the yarn holders as a stop for the back, I push steady as I tuft, they make great stops.

Broke before I even got to make my first rug
I was so excited for this. I was reassured getting a metal frame over a wooden one would be much more durable. It was not only difficult to assemble, it was still wobbly no matter how tight I'd clamp it to the table. The very next day, it fell, breaking almost all the irreplaceable spikes. I guess I'll give up on this dream 😔

Well made tufting frame
Well made Good frame for tufting smaller size projects, good for a beginner easy to set up too.

Base frame is nice, the little spikes that hold the cloth lack durability.
The frame went together with relative ease, and is plenty sturdy, and much lighter weight than wood.The little spikes for securing the cloth are plastic, and I had a few just snap off when removing the cloth from my first piece. the package does come with extra spike thingies, but you cant swap them out without disassembling the entire frame. I am hopeful I will be able to figure out a way to attach normal carpet tack strips to this frame, otherwise it's worthless if the plastic spikes are going to snap off under pressure.

Trash once the little spikes break they cant be replaced and your just left with a metal frame
