Dear Elaine:-The oral B tufted brush is a small brush that can be used to clean crowded teeth, dentures, children or adults wearing braces, and for restoration work done such as caps, crowns, bridges. For i.e. I have had restorationwork done so I use the oral b tufted end brush lst, and that my sonicare brush 2nd., as my dentist has statedrestoration work need good hygiene care done, if not, problems could arise. If you have dental issues use thetufted brush lst, and that then your regular toothbrush 2nd. If no dental issues., then your regular brushshould be ok. Hopes this helps you.

Q: Do you put toothpaste on this?

I don't put toothpaste on it at first. It is part of my 20 min. routine. Floss, interdentals, Sonicare, small kid's toothbrush and then end tuft all done dry. Then brush with toothpaste and brush all with toothpaste. Then Waterpik....20 min.
