the sticky back mount for this is almost the size of the entire holder. You can take holder off and onto the sticky mount because it has flat hooks molded into it. It is incredibly strong- as you can see it is holding 3 hair tool items in the photo. I will only be keeping my hair dryer in this but I wanted to show how good the hold is (just make sure you clean the wall before sticking it on with alcohol or windex)So glad to get my hairdryer off my beauty cart, the wire was so annoying always getting caught in the wheel or knocking things over when I go to grab it. I don't have time in my life to be messing with tangles- this wall mount takes that stress away.
