Good for posture correction
I would not say that this helps with "pain relief" as such but I guess over time once you correct your posture the relief will come. It is good for wearing while working at a desk and on a computer to prevent hunching over. Reasonably comfortable but not to wear all day.

Tiny
No good for me, perhaps a child, I could myself an injury putting it on, and on the off chance I managed to do so, reaching the ends of the straps to tighten it, I’d have to dislocate my shoulders, I do have quite broad shoulders, but if I could get this on, I wouldn’t need it

For helping posture correctness.
Too high on my back, if adjusted to be lower did not do anything for my back.

Actually does work at keeping your shoulders back, but is so uncomfortable
There are no instructions with this so I was confused at to why the straps were in a a crossover formation. While this formation is comfortable it traps around your neck. This cannot be right , so I put the straps into a more logical backpack type formation. A lot better and it holds your shoulders back, which is excellent, except it’s uncomfortable under the arm and was restricting blood flow to my hands. If I loosen them enough not to fix this , the support isn’t there. The straps need to be way more comfortable for this to be used for long periods. Can’t recommend as is sorry.

There are better options out there
This posture corrector works, but there are several other options that (in my opinion) work better and more comfortably. I have several posture correctors of various styles, and it only took me five minutes of wearing this one to know that it would be the last one that I'd reach for.First, the adjustable straps are thin, only about an inch wide. They also have no stretch, so once you tighten them, any movement (reaching for your drink, answering a phone, etc) is painfully restricted. The straps also dig into your underarms, and if they aren't positioned correctly, they can cut off your circulation and cause numbness.Second, the velcro extends the entire strap. Yes, this offers more adjustability, but it also leaves quite a bit of the scratchy part of the velcro exposed to catch on your hair, shirt, and more. Depending on the shirt you're wearing, it also scratches your skin.It also is only minimally effective. There is no true back support to work in tandem with the shoulders, and without that back support, I have to wonder if it is actually doing more harm than good. It certainly feels that way. Finally, it doesn't come with any form of instructions. I think that might be why some people are saying that this posture corrector doesn't fit. When you take the product out of the packaging, the straps are crisscrossed as if they are supposed to sit across your chest. There's no way to fit the posture corrector properly in that position. If you look at the web images, it's supposed to be worn more like a vest or shoulder holster. Unfortunately, that isn't intuitive when opening the package, and without instructions, there's no real way to know this unless you go digging online for instructions.Overall, I would not recommend this product. It gets two stars because it does technically work, but it's uncomfortable, scratchy, and unintuitive. Spend a little bit more to get a better one that has thicker straps and back support.

works well
I've been experiencing right shoulder pain, and despite my efforts to address the issue, I couldn't find a solution. That's when I came across this corrector.I've been using it for about two weeks now, dedicating about an hour per day, and I've noticed some improvement in my shoulder pain, although it hasn't been a dramatic change. While wearing it, I find that I can't freely use my arms, so I tend to relax during that time.Adjusting and putting it on can be challenging, but once it's in place at right position, I've observed that it helps correct my posture and alleviate shoulder discomfort.

Very Uncomfortable
Three things struck me as I pulled this out of the package and began to try it on: first, the straps don't look nearly as wide as they do in the online description photos; in reality, they're just 1.1 inches wide on the brace I got. Second, the straps were criss-crossed, also unlike in the photo. Compounding the issue is that the brace comes with no instructions so I had to go back online to watch the how-to video. That, in turn, showed me that the straps are not supposed to be criss-crossed; so I had to detach both and reposition them to look like the online photos. Then, I wiggled into it, watching how the guy did it in the video.Once I got it on what looked like the correct place, it did seem to force me to hold a more correct posture. But I noticed something else; once I tightened the rather narrow straps, even though they're pretty well padded, they cut into my armpits to the point of being uncomfortable. So, wearing it for more than a few minutes wasn't in the cards. Of course, I could loosen them, but doing so meant I lost the tension that held my shoulders straight and pretty much negated what the support should be trying to accomplish. On top of all that, it's nearly impossible to wiggle out of it without help (at one point, I resorted to using a backscratcher to grab it from the back and pull down). Sorry, but this isn't working for me.

Upper Shoulder Correction
This does the job of pulling your shoulders back--therefore forcing your posture upward a bit.At first adjustment I was thinking this might be impossible to put on/off on my own, much less tighten them. I would have appreciated some directions/tips for putting it on; However, if you set the straps a little loose and simply hold it up above your head and slide on like a backpack-it works fine to put on by yourself. And then removing is the same as just pulling up on the back of your shirt to take it off. Very do-able.Overall, it feels somewhat awkward, not comfortable like a backpack, but it feels better with your posture in the right place--so I'd say it's doing its job! After 15-30min adjustment period, I found it no longer bothered me and I could wear it for a very long time. It did a good job at preventing my slouching while on my laptop--and while I could realistically hunch my lower back--it prevented me from feeling comfortable doing it.I did notice the next day--my mind was very attuned to when my shoulders would slouch, so I can see how wearing this even periodically can change your mindset and make you more aware of your posture. For under $10, I believe this does the job well.

Hard to get it on & off
Time will tell how I really feel about this posture corrector. For now, here's what I can tell you - it's not easy to get it on & off by yourself. Once on, I found it wasn'tvery uncomfortable. While this may be a good training tool, I'll only be able to use it when I have someone else with me to help put it on.
