These books are easy reads and a good place for anyone age12ish and up to begin. Lots of easily understood information to begin writing a paper, dissertation, or just for personal pleasure.

Kindle Unlimited, have read all these before but as usual when a collection is put together always seems to be a bit extra here and there, and besides, Elves, Dwarves, Trolls and Valkyries plus God, Goddesses, Heroes and Monsters from many cultures, and as usual {for me} Celtic is always interesting. This book is a nice overview of five different mythologies. It will provide a quick introduction to the main stories and most important gods & godesses.

Anyone wanting either a crash course in mythology or a wrap-up of most of the world's primary mythologies needs to read this book. It was not only a brief synopsis of some of the greatest mythologies in the world It also went in depth and told you origins of God's and goddesses and listed all of the goddesses from the five following mythologies. It is a great read from a refresher course or if you're just stepping into mythology.

This is an informative yet basic set of books; an overview and not more than an interesting introduction into the subject matter. If you are somewhat familiar with western mythology this set will add some knowledge. It only slightly touches on the myths themselves, providing the reader the opportunity to dive deeper into the stories with other books

Awesome resource to use for my World Mythology class. Very easy to understand.

Our daughter was curious about myths after watching the Percy Jackson movies. We purchased this book for her to give her information on different groups and how they relate. Great book.

I was curious about mythology in general and didn't really know where to start with satisfying this curiosity. This collection was absolutely perfect to give me an introduction to different cultures and their beliefs. The book was written in a way that was easy to understand but still got the message across. It was a great introductory book and I'm looking forward to digging more into some of the worlds I read about in this book!

Great resource book for research!

Easy to read

Well presented, well illustrated

The content matter is very lucid and yet so indepth. The narrative story type content which gives a good idea of the myth and mythologies. Good research kind of book but the secondary resources would have been better.
