Dorman 711-040-1 Spl Drive Key Lock

I needed this product since the guys at Grease Monkey couldn't rotate my tires since my wheel lock key was missing; I bought the car used and never realized it had wheel locks, and thus, the key was nowhere to be found and I couldn't get ahold of the previous owner. They told me that something like this should do the trick to replace the missing key and it worked like a charm.

This little splined socket was the one thing that the previous owner of my truck didn't tell me wasn't in the truck when he sold it to me. Do go cheap on this, there are horror stories of the cheap ones breaking while trying to remove the lugs.

I bought a car that had splined lug nuts and no key to remove them. I bought this hoping it would work and it fit perfect. The thin wall fit inside the wheel, anything thicker wouldn’t have fit.

It fits. I wish I knew these were available separately before I went and bought a whole noher set of nuts with key just to get the key. Now I have a spare key. They are easy to lose in the excitement of changing a tire. Anyone need some nuts?
