**** LOVED IT ***
Carolyn Brown never fails to deliver. Luckiest Cowboy of All is the story of Jace and Carlene, They were high school sweethearts. When she found out she was pregnant she knew they were too young and she didn't want to ruin Jace'life so she never told him. That was nine years ago and now she wanted Tilly to have roots and be surrounded by family so she went back to Happy Texas. She didn't know how she was going to tell Jace. For all she knew he could be married with kids of his own. She inherited her aunt's house in Happy and as they were moving in Jace came by to welcome them. Carlene thought she would have some time to prepare to tell Jace about Tilly. When Tilly came in the room she knew by the look on his face that she didn't have to say anything because he knew she was his.Now you have to read the book and see how they are going to co-parent....and what does Tilly think of Jace. Carlene has been mother and father to her ....does she need anyone else. I loved every minute of this book and hated for it to end. Deserves all five stars and then some.Hometown Cowboy by Sara Richardson was also included in this book. This is Jessa and Lance's love story. Lance never got over his mother walking out on her family when he was very young. He has nver let anyone get close. One night stands are all he wants. UNTIL he takes a second look at Jessa and wonders why he never noticed her before. He has sworn off any type of relationship as has Jessa. How is that going to work for the two of them? Read it and find out. This was also a great story.

Don’t Skip Luckiest Cowboy of All / You Can Skip Hometown Cowboy
Luckiest Cowboy of All was good and another nicely told story told by Carolyn Brown. Hometown Cowboy was an okay story and the coarse language which was not needed was not enjoyable. I may take a closer look at any other book by this author before I commit to reading one.

Loved both stories
Love the family element in all of Ms. Brown's books. You know what will happen but can't wait to see how it does! Characters are well written. Second book was a bit different from normal lines of her Texas stories, but enjoyable just the same! You should give it a try!

Big secret exposed!
Loved this one! Carlene and her nine year old daughter, Tilly move back to Happy, Texas. It's a new and hopefully permanent move. It comes with a big price, facing Jace and letting him know he has a daughter. Tilly now has a large family with cousins and grandparents and even great-grandparents!We also get to see Hope and Henry get a second chance at love.

Good series, but...
I enjoyed this series but was very disappointed that less than 50% of the 3rd book was devoted toward ending this series. The rest of the book was devoted to the author and her accolades. There was also an introduction of a novel from a different author. Those things are nice, but, I thought I was paying for a full part 3 , not the rest of what was included in this book.

Luckiest Cowboy of All by Carolyn Brown and Hometown Cowboy by Sara Richardson:Two full books for the price of one!!!!
Carolyn Brown writes an exceptional story of cowboy romance. Her characters come to life almost immediately upon picking up her books. This book is no exception. A mom and daughter return to Happy, Texas to reunite with small time life and left behind love. Many second chance loves can leave you guessing at what really happened. Not this time. The matured cowboy is ready to be "Daddy" after all. The little girl, Tilly, is one smart and precious child. Bad times really can turn into good times.Book two of this two book special is by a new author for me. Sara Richardson is excellent. She writes in a different style, but with the same attention getting suspense. She keeps you guessing awhile, but sums up in the best possible way!!You'll be pleased with your reading of these two books.

Heartwarming.
Carolyn Brown`s book was an excellent story. Enjoyed it very much and was hard to stop reading it. I liked the second book, but feel it didn't need the foul language or detailed sex.

Two Sweet Stories In One Volume
Carolyn Brown has a marvelous way of telling her tales of rugged cowboys and the strong women who love them, where every story captivates us and reels us in. The humor, passion and sass never gets old and keeps us coming back for more. I love how real the characters are and how close we get to each of them. Jace and Carlene had a rare love that endured much heartache, time and space. First love never dies was never truer but second chances are hard-won when so much time has passed and secrets are no longer hidden. See updates to other characters in the Happy, Texas series as you read this final book. I know you will enjoy Jace and Carlene's beautiful continuation of a love story that burned hot, whose embers never died and see how a sweet surprise conceived so long ago was just what a lonely cowboy needed. The Dawson family proves yet again to be a strong, united force that have hearts big and loving enough to forgive accept, love and support not only blood family but those who are added by the ties and magic of love. Hometown Cowboy by Sara Richardson was such a wonderful bonus book and fit well with Carolyn's story. The road to love is as bumpy and full of unexpected turns and a strong measure of hope and endurance but often it's in forgiveness and trust that the strongest bonds of love are bound. I loved the story of Lance and Jessa so much and you will too. This isn't just some fairy dusted tale of handsome cowboy and hidden gem discovered that meet and fall in love. Sara weaves in the harsh realities of life and power of facing your fears, letting go the past, forgiving and forging the unknown future and the enduring strength of a family that's loyalty and love is tested and found to be strong no matter the distance of time and space apart. I loved how they were brought together and stepped up to the plate to face the challenges of family and life together. The passion and chemistry was off the charts but true love was shown to be what truly brought Lance and Jessa together.

Fell short of my expectations
I've read several book by Carolyn Brown that left me all sappy and happy, including book 1 and 2 in this series. Therefore I'm disappointed in book 3 - Luckiest Cowboy of All. An unknown indie author might have gotten 4 stars, but I expect more from someone as experienced and celebrated as Carolyn Brown so 3 stars it is. The story is very, very cookie cutter with no significant character development. There are recurring inconsistencies like the MC realizing he can only wear sneakers and the next page he wears boots. And also spelling/grammar errors that shouldn't happen with a professionally published book. All in all it feels like there didn't go a lot of dedication into the writing. Rather it was 'just another book'. Makes me sad.

2-in-1 novel by Carolyn Brown, and a bonus novel by Sara Richardson.
Another modern Western romance in Happy, Texas, by an author who brings humour, emotion and a real family atmosphere to her stories. Look out for a young lady called Tilly in Carolyn Brown's story. Her comments are priceless. Both novels are about rocky relationships, the value of friendship and the necessity of compromise to find true happiness.

A good story.
This was my first Carolyn Brown, and it will not be the last. A well written enjoyable book: the characters came to life and an end you hoped for.
