Adults love it too!! In fact it’s maybe for adults more than kids!
Initially chose this for a one year old, but the marbles are just too tiny and I’ll be honest, this thing is so cool!! The adults really love it, I’ve opted to look at it as more of an art piece than toy. It’s aesthetically pleasing, I adore the colors and there’s a very relaxing meditative quality with the way we interact with it. It’s mesmerizing. As far as putting it together, it’s really simple, just LOOK at it and take a few seconds to double check before you start gluing. It comes with glue but I recommend a trusted wood glue to ensure adherence. The marbles will fly off if you drop them from up high and they get too much momentum, but if you place them close to the center they stay on perfectly.I really love the scale of it also, it really doesn’t look juvenile at ALL. It passes as art. Interactive kinetic art. And the price is astoundingly low. Love it, I plan on keeping it forever and enjoying it the rest of my life. That said, it’s not a baby toy. Feel free to show it to a little one but any kid under 5 I’d be careful unless you’re right there. Those marbles are just too tempting. I’m confident 5 year olds are cognizant of choking hazards and edible vs inedible things, but 3/4 year olds may lack the discernment…they look like bubblegum balls and because they’re smooth and small it’s just a risk not worth taking.

Falls apart
Falls apart all the time ( the leaves) . The glue doesn't work. I tried gluing the leaves. If I could get it apart (the column ) would send it back. The balls are a choking hazard. Had to buy different balls. But put together it makes a beautiful sound when the ball glide down. Bump it once and it's over. It's smaller in person too my one year old is taller than the tree.

Toddlers love it!
The media could not be loaded. This toy keeps my kids entertained for so long, they love the sounds it makes! The leaves do not stay unless you glue them in, so we opted for super glue instead of wood glue and it works like a charm. The base arrived with a broken wooden side but we just wood glued that back on no issue, a little annoying though. Otherwise, this is a great price compared to similar items online and it's a nice size too!
