Bellroy Phone Case – 3 Card for iPhone 15 Pro Max (Leather iPhone case, Phone Wallet) - Everglade

I was excited to upgrade the Bellroy case for my new iPhone 15, as I loved the previous version. However, I have to concur with another reviewer regarding the new design feature - the protruding lip on the back compartment. It's quite bothersome and feels out of place compared to the sleek and minimalist design of the previous iteration. I can always feel it when holding the phone. It was perfect before - why change it? Additionally, the "action button" is essentially just a hole, making it quite challenging to press effectively. Moreover, the quality of the leather doesn't seem as luxurious as my previous Bellroy case, especially considering the $80 price point. Regrettably, I'll be returning this case until the leather quality improves, the action button is enhanced with a hard button, and that cumbersome lip is removed.

I loved the bellboy wallet case on my 13 pro max. Beautiful. Clean. Unfortunately, the company made significant sacrifices on quality for this iteration to help their bottom line. The main problem is the updated clasp mechanism, which now a piece of silicone protrudes out from the case, instead of a small cutout built into the case as before. Problem is, especially if you’re a lefty is, you feel is constantly within use and completely ruins the feel of the case. For 80 dollars, my hand shouldn’t be constantly rubbing up on hard silicone. It sounds nit picky, but for this price point it is completely unacceptable and makes it feel like a $15 case. Also, you’ll see, the actual method by which they secure the leather to the frame has declined as well. At the top of the phone you can see the leather was poorly wrapped and wrinkled. This was not the case on their prior iterations of this case. The leather was 100% smooth all the way through. I would avoid this case until they return to their prior manufacturing method and design. I would have been a lifelong customer, that’s how much I LOVED their prior case, but will be returning this one. Sad!

素材は単に「レザー」となっており、商品名にもレザーとありますが、触り心地がどうも樹脂っぽいなと思っていたら。なんと、パッケージには「Eco-tanned leather」とあります。要するに、本革ではなく動物由来の素材を一切用いない「合成皮革」です。お値段もそれなりですから、本革だろうと思い購入したのですが、その点は期待外れとしか言いようがありません。エコレザーを目当てに買う人もいるかも知れませんが、単に「レザー」と表記するのは不親切でしょう。非常にミスリーディングと思います。
