BEST TEFLON PASTE ON THE MARKET!!!!!! Go no further!
I have been using Harveys for 30+ years. I have used it on gas lines, water lines and sodium hypochlorite lines and it has stood the test of time. No leaks on products I plumbed 30 years ago. I go with teflon tape and Harveys on every threaded fitting I do in the field for security to prevent leaks. I use it on copper, galvy pipe, stainless steel & PVC. It can dry out before you use it up and the brushes can break if the paste gets thick, but I recommend Harvey's to everyone!! I will continue to use it on all my plumbing needs until Harvey's stops producing it.

A great choice for TFE paste.
This paste has a good consistency and seems thicker and higher quality than the generic store brands I usually get.I brush it onto the threads, tighten them up and no leaks at all.A must have for any plumbing project. I like and recommend this product.

Need the right stuff
I ordered this material to fix a leaking drain pipe, TFE tape did not work so this is what I needed.

Pipe Thread Sealant
The TEFLON paste is the quickest and best way to solve any leak issues. It can be applied wet, cold, hot, or just about any condition and still provide a 100% seal.

Not good for threads that need to be turned by hand.
I bought this as a replacement to plumber's teflon tape because the threaded cap on my pool's chlorinator had become difficult to open twice weekly by hand. I called the company and they told me it would work for what I described to them.I'm sure it's a good sealer, but unfortunately the paste now makes it even more difficult to open the cap as it is a heavy paste that adds to the resistance when turning.
