Very disappointed
Found this lacking in taste. Very disappointed especially as it had won a good taste award. Perhaps I was unlucky and had a dodgy bottle. Sauce also very thick, so nigh on impossible to get out of the bottle. Was so excited to try this, left feeling I had massively overpaid for a fairly tasteless sauce.

Not that banana”y”
A lovely ketchup which goes great with all sorts, especially with a bit of spice. Don’t be put off by the banana, it really doesn’t taste like banana. Loses a star for being too hard to get out of the bottle

Nice but not the price.
The price for the size of product. Used it on ribs.

A well-balanced flavour, this pairs so well with so many dishes. 5* for tropical deliciousness!
Well, this is certainly different, and pleasantly so, too.Truthfully, I was a little reticent about trying this, as I’m not a fan of anything banana-tasting, but my continuing lack of taste led me to take a leap of faith here in the hope of experiencing something with a little flavour. And, Boy, I wasn’t disappointed!Right now, I’m savouring this remarkable ketchup's subtle but pleasant flavour.First and foremost, it looks like ketchup, although lighter and slightly sweeter but with a very slightly thicker consistency, but most of all, I like how this doesn’t taste of Banana at all.I mean, they are in there somewhere, they must be, but they certainly aren’t overpowering! As a flavoured condiment, this is magnificent. It tastes like a wonderful spicy ketchup, with no banana taste at all.Very flavoursome, with a taste almost identical to tomato ketchup, quite simply, this is utterly delicious. It works for all the applications you might otherwise use tomato ketchup for, and in addition to this, you get so much extra flavour too! With its well-balanced flavour, this ketchup, pairs well with so many dishes, thus delivering a combination of sweet and spicy flavours that adds depth and gives such a pleasant kick.If you are looking for some “tropical deliciousness” to add a spark to what you might consider a boring, and bland meal, then look no further… THIS is delicious! So far, I’ve tried this on a sandwich, and my partner has tried this on a burger… I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am to try this on other dishes. This is a great alternative to regular ketchup, and in my opinion, this punchy sauce is infamously addictive and will undoubtedly make a memorable event out of any meal.I am delighted with this, and I thank you for the opportunity to try this AMAZING Banana ketchup!

Nice enough, but not mind blowing and hard to get out of the bottle
The media could not be loaded. Banana ketchup - now thats intriguing. It actually contains 28% bananas, but also contains 42% tomato. The problem is that Its just not a mind blowing taste experience (or even slightly interesting). It just tastes a bit like its components really, mostly bland ketchup with a hint of banana and with a noticeable cider vinegar presence. It’s not a very strong taste, a bit of a tomato tangy banana vibe really. No nasties in it though apart from a bit of added sugar.I don't know what typically Philippines would involve but I could definitely take it or leave it if this is representative . I certainly wouldn't say this was 'bursting with flavour', more on the bland side. I know its won a 'great taste award' and it is 'nice', but thats about it.The most annoying thing is that its VERY difficult to persuade it to come of of the bottle. Its very thick and not obliging. I decided to make a video to show how hard it is to get out of the bottle, but ironically the one time I did that it came out straight away without much hassle. I had stored it in the fridge, so maybe that helped. The best before date is around 1 year and 10 months away. The price at the time of writing is heading towards £10 for a relatively modest amount and that feels quite pricey but by all means give it a go and I'm sure you'll probably like it in an inoffensive way.

Tasty
I didn't even know banana ketchup was a thing, and it's certainly not a combination I would have expected to work....yet, here I am adding it to my scrambled eggs, burgers, sausages.... I absolutely love it.It might not suit everyone's taste, but it certainly suits mine and as I've finished the bottle I'll be ordering more. It's a yummy 5 stars from me.
