Helix30cm Shatter Resistant Metric and Imperial Ruler

Good quality item. I needed it for my A-Level exams and it was everything I needed. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of a scratch exactly 16.2 cm along the surface (which was probably just me when I was taking it out of the packaging), and a small lump at 28.8 cm (which is probably just a random manufacturing error). Otherwise it's great.

Now I'm not about to complain exactly - this ruler was only £0.96 including delivery - but be warned that it is seriously thin, flexible & easily snapped.For permanent life on the desktop (& we're not talking your computer), it could have a long & beneficial life, but if you're thinking of carrying it from A to B, then I'd seriously recommending saving that quid & getting something more substantial.On the plus side, the measurements are easy to read with good clarity & it's very lightweight.

I have seen that another reviewer has already posted, however it isn't shatterproof. Not that this is any drawback for its' usability or accuracy though.Aside from this, Helix has always been a brand I have trusted, and this product is no exception. I can't say very much more about it though, it's only a ruler and it does straight lines!D

I purchased these at a time when I was ordering lots of things for the return to school. They cost 57p each then plus p & p ( I bought 5). They did arrive within the time stated but were slow compared to all the other purchases from a variety of suppliers. It was only much later that I realised they were charging me £4.55 postage and packing. A total rip off - they weren't individually packaged as appears on the photograph, they simply came bunched together in an envelope folded in half and stapled down one side and were sent 2nd class. I notice now they have decided to add an extra £1 to purchase price and are offering 'free!' delivery. Someone is having a right laugh at my expense! The rulers are easy to read but a bit on the flimsy side.

it's a ruler... it's straight and it measures stuff. Just realised I'd looked at the postage costs as it cost more to send then it did to buy! Next time I'll be going to the shop down the road!

A ruler is a ruler, so not much to say. It is exactly as described and does the job.. the fact that it is clear does make it easier to use. The product arrived quickly and was good value for money,

I ordered this ruler not because it looked like it was the best, but because I thought it was an amazing deal for 50 rulers, when only one arrived I wrote to ask why and they told me it was a description error before refunding the full amount without even asking me to return it.So because of a slight error on their part I now have a perfectly good free ruler.5 Stars, it would have been worth the money even if it were only 1 ruler.

It is really useful to be shatter resistant as it is for my child's use. Good quality and has very clear markings and multiple scales.
