WZMPA Washington DC City Map Cosmetic Bag - Travel Souvenir Gift - Long Distance Relationship Makeup Zipper Pouch Bag

I needed some less expensive souvenirs to bring to my family. I bought these before my trip and gave them out when I got home. I have 18 grandchildren. I would not have been able to bring an overpriced souvenir from D.C. for everyone. I passed them out with love. Everyone was happy!

The quality is not the best and it doesn’t look as good as on the photos: fabric is not a regular canvas made of cotton, the print of monuments and names is blurry. Colors are nice. I wouldn’t have bought it for a present if I had known the overall quality.

Ordered tote bags and they are labeled DC, but actually a map of Boston.

This is a cute and functional little bag. I like the size and the little drawings remind me of DC. The lining seems to have been a struggle though - the stitching is off, it shows a white thread snarl by the zip end, the bottom seam is on the inside and is so uneven that it feels weird. It's also not tacked in so that it's almost easier to pull the whole lining out when I'm looking for something small. I'm worried about catching lining in the zipper when I close it. For the design, the greens in the trees are vibrant and lovely. The landmarks are a bit vague (and sort of an odd assortment?). The writing is almost unreadable. The landmarks are the National Zoo, Howard University, Georgetown University, White House, Lincoln Memorial, Capitol Hill, Mount Vernon, Jefferson Memorial, and "Nationals" for Nationals Park. The Potomac and Anacostia rivers are also labeled.

This is a cute cosmetic bag as far as the drawings of various popular sites located in Washington, D.C. That part of the bag would be a 4-1/2 star, as well as the soft canvas exterior, but there are several detractions in the bag that forced me to lower the rating. (1) the interior material is fine, but the stitching leaves side areas with puckers, plus the interior seam is sewn across the bottom with the raw side showing instead of a neat, smooth bottom. (2) names of the various popular sites are drawn in such a way to be nearly illegible in some cases and totally illegible in other cases. These two negatives were disappointing for what might have been a really cool bag. The bag is 9 inches wide by 7 inches tall with a 2-inch bottom.
