My feet hurt and swell up if I am sitting too long. They are more comfortable when they are raised up and that is where this product comes in. It is lightweight and portable. As long as you can find somewhere to loop the straps over, you can use this. While it doesn't have a lot of cushioning, the space is roomy enough not to feel like your legs are squished together. There is room to put one of those airline pillows if you want more cushioning. It packs flat so takes up so little space in anything you put it in. My legs don't hurt as much from sitting so long anymore.

I get a lot of knee pain when flying from sitting in one position for so long. However, when I used this footrest, I saw a significant improvement in the aches and pains. It is very light weight and easy to attach to the seat in front of you. I got a lot better sleep quality on the plane when using this product as it helps reduce knee pain. It’s not super roomy, but it’s enough. The smaller size is better for small airplane spaces. Just make sure you know the seat setup before bringing it on a plane, because this can vary greatly. The straps can attach to any sturdy pole or seat back. It buckles securely and can be adjusted if needed. I like it.

I had a bad accident and broke my leg in 4 places a few years ago. I still suffer from pain and swelling from that injury and like to prop my leg up while I am at work. I was hopeful that this product would make that easier. It came assembled and all I had to do was climb under my desk and thread the straps up behind it and then click it in place (as if climbing under a desk with a bum leg is easy...). Unfortunately, I sit in a corner desk and I am unable to keep the straps where I need them to be in order to reach it and still have my leg raised. It just slides to the corner and ends up cockeyed under my desk. It's a bummer but I am hoping that I can still use it at my home office. I don't do a lot of traveling in the air, but based on my size, I don't anticipate this being very comfortable for me in the air.

I bought this to use at my desk when I am working. Being short, my feet don't touch the floor, so I needed a little extra support, and this was my attempt at that. The funny thing is that my husband has adopted it for his travels later this week, which is just fine. He wants to be able to take his shoes off during the long train ride and relax.
