My decking has been there for at least 20 years, but some planks had to now come up. This tool gave the critical first quarter turn, before using conventional screwdrivers and power drivers. A bit of WD40, or similar first to lubricate the screw a bit and clear the screw top - then give it some welly with a few sharp blows if it was being awkward - that worked for me. Some screws gave up relatively easily, others were a bit shy and needed the impact treatment - I didn’t have a plan B, so I’m very pleased with its help when needed. Definitely worth the money.

Good solid driver with useful set of bits. Bought to assist with dismantling an 80 year old upright piano. No problems, and didn't even have to use the impact function. The driver body gave me enough grip to remove the old Whitworth thread screws (although these are technically metric bits).

I was in need of a few tools/bits to disassemble a OnePlus 3T so I could swap out the USB connector and figured that opting for a kit would be useful in the event that I would need some tools again in the future for other phone brands (have needed to disassemble the odd phone in the past with varried success).I almost went for a more expensive branded toolkit for quality over quantity reasons, but for the amount of times I would likely be using it I couldn't quite justify the higher price.After looking at limited reviews available on other Amazon stores this seemed to be quite highly regarded and so I took a punt.Well anyway today the kit arrived and even though the spare parts had not yet arrived for the target phone, I took the opportunity to have a dry run and disassemble the 3T, and this kit did the job perfectly fine. The choice of bits is very good and the quality seems more than good enough for my usage case. The screwdriver is good quality as well as the various adapters. The only possible downside I think would have to be the plastic pry tools. That are easily damaged so will not last very long, but you do get set of picks so you can afford to break a few and still keep going.The magnetic mat is a great touch and genuinely useful and the case it all comes in is fantastically simple.Overall I recommend this set if you plan on the occasional repair job.Time will tell if I will need to invest in more expensive picks in the future.

Got this for my husband because we had a situation recently where we really needed one of these things. It's a really heavy duty product and feels so well made that we're confident it will do the job whenever we need it. Feels like a really good buy.

I tried everything to loose some large seized screw bolts from an old Aga cooker. I couldn't find anything else to do the job, but I bought this tool and with a few firm bangs with a hammer it worked! It's a great item, very good quality and the case is pretty decent too. Would 100% recommend.
