This is a good display case
This is a good display case, though even on sale it's still pretty pricey. But there's nothing else quite like it on Amazon. The closest alternatives are actually wood tool chests, but they don't have glass tops like this knife display case. Curio cabinets are fine and have more glass, but I wanted a case that had some hidden storage like this one. I use mine for storing my gold and displaying my silver collection, as shown in my photos. I live alone in a safe, gated neighborhood and I'm home 99% of the time, so I don't even use the locks, but they do function properly and yes, there are three keys (you'll receive five, including duplicates for the side locks). For the photos, I pulled some of the drawers out so you can get a better sense of how big they are (threw in some dollar bills for perspective). There's a photo of the case with my cat, too, so you can get a sense of the size of the cabinet. Look carefully and you'll see metal latches on the sides of the drawers, which work with the locking mechanisms inside the cabinet. But the latches tend to hit the sides of the drawer openings when pulling or pushing the drawers in their slots, so you have to be careful when opening or closing or you'll start dinging up the wood slots. Now that I've taken these photos, I'm planning to remove all the latches on the drawers to prevent any dinging, which will be easy since they're mounted with Phillips screws.I've included a photo detail of a scratch that developed on my cabinet (see arrow in lower right corner). The scratch came from the stapled bottom of the bottom drawer, which scratches across the frame when opening and closing. Now that I've shown you the scratch, I'll camouflage it with stain and countersink the staples in the bottom of the drawers (with some light hammering and a screwdriver) to prevent future scratching. I recommend you do the same countersinking as part of your set up, which consists of setting the case where you want to keep it, since it comes fully assembled. But that's it for the downsides. The cabinet arrived very well packaged at my house and suffered no damage in transit. The wood itself has minimal flaws, but I'm sure results will vary since everything is real wood (even the "thick paperboard" drawer bottoms seem more like 1/8" Masonite and they hold my heavy gold and silver collectibles without issue or sagging). The interior felt is black (a color which is surprisingly not all that common with lined cases, but I'm so glad it is). The felt is fairly thin, has no padding, and is glued down. Eventually I may need to reline the case with higher quality felt, but with reasonable care the original felt should last for years.I was so happy with the quality of the cabinet that I ended up buying a second one today to house my ever-growing silver collectibles. And I'm seriously thinking about ordering a third one. Three of them would certainly look cool side by side, but dang what an expense (as if two wasn't expensive enough)! Then again, while I did say this case is "pretty pricey," I didn't say it was overpriced. Decent quality costs decent money, and when your storing $75,000 of precious metals (or expensive knives, or coins, or anything), you want something that lives up to its contents. After much researching and tons of page views, I've found a collector's case that does.

Very Pleased
It looks just like the marketing photo. Feels very sturdy. The drawers all move in and out easily and the locks all work..and there are a bunch of them. With grandchildren often roaming the house, I appreciate the security provided by the locks. I just need to remain mindful of where I keep the keys! There are 5 drawers and they can hold an impressive number of knives. (see photos). I haven't properly organized mine yet so right now they contain "overflow" from my other storage cabinets, but I estimate that each of the four "narrow" draws can hold around 10 mid-sized folders, and the bottom wider drawer should hold about 20-25. There is also a top display "shelf" that has roughly the same surface area as the bottom drawer. So a rough estimate is that, depending upon the size of the knives, the cabinet can hold about 75 - 80 knives, which is as good or better than I expected.Price seems good for the size and craftsmanship, but I don't know if I'm the best judge on that so I went with 4 stars. "Craftmanship received a 5 but it might really deserve a 4 because it's a pretty basic design. Sturdiness and Overall received 5's. Quite pleased with purchase and am very likely to be buying at least a second one.

Solid Build, Looks Great and Responsive Vendor
This case is solid and looks great. It's actually larger than what I was expecting, which was a pleasant surprise. In it I have a collection of more than 50 folders and would guess that it's filled to only half its capacity. The bottom drawer is where I keep my fixed blades. I have 5 or 6 in that drawer, the largest of which are my Becker BK7 and my Tops Tahoma Field Knife. Both knives are in their sheath and fit nicely. All drawers lock, but as others have mentioned it would have been nice had the three locks used the same key. The locks on the sides of the cabinet came with two keys, the top lock only had one. I contacted the company and they sent me an additional key for the top lock...came in just a couple days.Shipping is expensive but the case is large and came very well packed. It also arrived quickly, I ordered it on a Friday morning, was notified that it shipped that afternoon and was delivered to my home Monday morning.I believe this is the perfect case to store and display my knives. It appears to be well made and looks good on a shelf in my office. On top of this the service from the vendor, Display Gifts, was first rate.

Thinking of buying another one.
I use this to store my more high-end/interesting knives. It has locks for the top and each side. They work just fine. The drawers have very thin padding, but it keeps the contents from getting scratched, and you can always pad it further if so inclined. The handle pulls are nicely colored and have an interesting shape, which lends a bit of personality to a faily basic, yet sturdy piece of furniture.

Good case. Ok service
I thought it was absolutely awesome! The quality is great and the wood is beautiful. My only complaint would be that it has 3 separate locks: one for the top, and one for each side of drawers. I felt it was a little much but on the other hand it gives a lot of security. Anyway, great product! My husband wanted another knife instead of the case though and I suppose he was expecting more of a transportable case instead of a nice stay at home hefty duty one lol. It arrived before the anticipated arrival date but once we returned it I had to contact the sellers for my refund after 3 weeks of hearing nothing. They responded and said they have refunded me through amazon 4-5 days ago and I did get an email afterwards from amazon but it still hasn't gone through. So that's why I put 4 stars instead of 5. Maybe it's because of all the holiday rush and such but I don't think it should take nearly a month to get a refund.

It’s expensive but worth every penny.
