Ok let me start with I bought 2... So I now have the one with the hammer (short handled) and the one with the sickle longer handle and I bought 2 extension kits with 2 bars each so that's 4 in total the short one now is only the spark stick, pommel, knife, and axe handle piece with head. the second has ALL 4 extensions and the knife in the end as a spear with all the rest of the goodies at the other end. Can switch either head over to suit utilitarian needs but the sickle one is a bigger head so it's literally like a big black battle axe! I put a crutch foot on the bottom and stowed the compass to protect it for later use. One quick switch of the head and the trail hawk becomes a h@lluva Walking cane that nobody wants to mess with! Five stars! I recommend!

Not great at chopping wood, which is sort of the primary role of an axe. the spike on the back is pretty sketchy as well, stabbed right through my shirt on the back swing, can't believe I didn't accidentally bury it in my shoulder.

Product worth the money if you only want to use it twice.I wouldn't dare ask for a refund as I used the ace exactly as you would have wanted it to be used.It took two good sticking throws and one good hack before rhe blade was severed from the hilt.Just spend the money on a legit axe unless you twant this for show. Seriously.

This is a very strange product. The "knife" blade doesn't seem to attach to anything, in anyway, to be useful. Life several past reviews, I dont think the "axe blade will last long either. Ill keep it, but only for the tubes and caps after the blade breaks.

Looks good, feels good but I have a problem where my flashlight isn't working after I put the battery in. If I can have someone from the company contact me about it that would be much appreciated.

Awesome fit on utility belt. Lack accessories spear, additional handle for survival fishing gear.

It comes together great and is easy to assemble. A bit on the heavy side, so its not the most conveniant for travel, but is certainly durable and sturdy.

This is a helpful addition when going into the bush. I do a fair bit of minimalist backpacking/camping.IMPORTANT NOTE: I was pruning a fallen tree (firewood run, took tree down with chainsaw, used axe for branches, etc) - and the axe blade chipped (a sizeable, nickel/quarter size chip).I'm keeping the review at 5-stars due to the responsiveness of the team. They accepted responsibility, obviously it should not happen, their response was within just a couple hours, and they agreed to exchange it hassle free.Products break, stuff happens, but customer support is everything.As an aside, the handle is very sturdy, the compass works great, and we started our fire using the knife/magnesium stick - all of which is contained nicely in the handle. A minimalists dream. Cheers!
