I talked to the funeral home a few days before my father passed, and they said that they would not refuse a casket sent to them, but they said they did not want to store it for me if it came too early. I went ahead and ordered it, not opting for the expedited shipping, then my father passed that night (a Friday). I then worried all weekend that I should have paid extra for faster shipping, but on Monday, Overnight issued the tracking number with the Wed-thru-Fri delivery window. I called them, because I definitely needed it delivered before Friday. They asked what town it was to be delivered to, and then told me that it would be there on Wednesday, no extra fee required. Sure enough, FedEx delivered it on Wednesday, the funeral home was just as impressed as I was with the beautiful, wood casket. I will be careful not to hurt their business, but do recommend Overnight Caskets through Amazon, for great, lower-priced caskets.

Did precisely what they said they would. Shame that more people are not aware of The Funeral Act of 2014. The Funeral folks were great to work with and happily received and used the casket.

This is exactly what I was looking for.I like that it is quality inspected ten times before it leaves the factory. I find the locking feature comforting too, so I can feel safe that no one will break in.Its for me, so I did not actually purchase this just yet. I put it in "saved for later".
