Q: How do I set the mode I want?

1. The first short press: light up, 25s after no detection, the light will become half-bright. 2. The second short press: light up, 25s after no detection, the lamp light off. 3. The third short press: Turn off completely. You can choose whichever mode you want to keep.

Q: Will it recharge automatically? Can the rechargeable battery be replaced?

Dear customer, The solar motion lights will automatically charge during the day and automatically light on at night or dark when motion is detected. The battery is built-in and not removable.

Q: How do I put the lights in motion detector mode? OR are they already set for this? Mine seem to stay on forever.

Turn the lamp upside down . Just in back of the lights there is a button. You press this button to change the working mode. It sounds like your lamp is in mode 1. In mode 1, the light turns on when it detects movement, then stays on until daylight. Bring the light inside the house. Turn off the lights. Press the button. The light should flash twice, indicating that it is in mode 2. In mode 2, the light detects motion, stays on for 25 seconds, then turns off until it detects motion again.
