It is not Just a Shaver, It is a Life Style Change
For years I dismissed beard electric shavers all together because I could not get close shaving, that was the main reason.20 days ago I bough Braun Series 9 PRO+ Electric Razor. Here is my feedback, I hope this helps those who are trying to figure out if they should buy one.I did extensive research before purchasing one, I wanted one that can give me very close shave, be at ease with sensitive skin and not get bumps but also size is a factor for me. Also one that would be reasonable cost $$.After researching and comparing all the different models it came down to two brands that have very good close shave especially under the neck area, that was always my problem reason why I did like not older models and stayed with traditional.I chose Braun Series 9 PRO+ Electric Razor for Men over runner up Panasonic Arch5/9 Series because of the size, I found the Panasonic tends to be a bit bulky. but both brands and models deliver the most close shave over all other brands and models. Again this I am referring to beard shave, other body parts such as head etc.. is a whole different topic. So far I am very happy with Braun Series 9 PRO+ Electric Razor,Model I have is 9567ccProsI used normally shave every other days, in some cases 3-4 days but by then my face starts to each,Now, it is so convenient I can shave any time, on the go, while working etc...I have tried both dry and wet, I found that dry working better, and not messy,Cleaning is very simple, mine came withe the charger cleaning all in-one, I have only used that once to clean, after shaving I normally just do quick clean withe the brush included.Noise is medium, not to loud,Battery seems to be very good, I only charged few times in the last 20 days.Size, I still would want it to be smaller but still smaller than others, others that are known brands, not talking about some cheap/copy.Close shaving, as close as traditional but not quite 100% there yet I will give it 98%... quite happy withe the closeness I am getting.Price - mid pricing, there is aways sale going, so its good to keep an eye and by on sale.ConOther than its a bit pricey I have no complaint with unit. The all in-one charger/cleaner is a bit large, I hope that could be made smaller in future,I hope this helps.

From an S5 to S9
I can never seem to care to upgrade because I always get stuck in my ways with things. My wife actually was the one to force me to upgrade even though it was just my charger that broke.Best upgrade ever. Maybe not fully worth $300+ to upgrade, but given it’s a whole new device I guess you could call it worth it.No regrets.

Just as good as a manual shave
Having used many electric razors over the years, I eventually switched to manual to get a closer shave with a double edged safety razor. With time being more limited these days, I re-entered the market for a good quality electric razor. Given my experience with past electric razors, I was highly skeptical of shelling out this amount of money for the Series 9 Pro+. It was worth it. Not only do I feel the shave is just as close as it was with a safety razor, but it’s much faster too! Double win!

WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!
My hair is quite thin but each individual hair is quite coarse. Same with my beard. I have shaved my head for 20 or more years. I had to dial it back on the safety razors because of a skin condition. Even with an electric, I have issues if I shave every day. I have had innumerable foil and rotary razors in the past and none of them did a good job. I see why old men grow beards. Anyway, I bit the bullet and bought this when it was on sale. If you had told me when I started shaving back in 1957 that I would pay nearly $300 for a razor and be happy I would definitely not have believed it, but here I am!

Tutankhaten would be proud
This shaver gives me a good shave but the user's manual is worse than worthless. A few words and 8 or 9 pages of pictograms. Supposedly understood by anyone regardless of language spoken. Resembles something that might have been printed on papyrus for one of the pharaohs.I sort of get the gist of it but it is difficult to follow. Fortunately, a few guys have produced some video on Youtube to help understand it

Series 9 Pro+ is a noticeable improvement over my old Series 9. Excellent shaver
I have had a series of Braun shavers. My older Series 9 was still going strong and still good for 10 days of shaving. But with age my skin has gotten more sensitive and the series 9 Pro+ gives a noticeably faster, better, closer shave. Moving the head lock switch from the too easy to toggle location on the original Series 9 was a great change.

Braun Series 9 Pro Shaver, pretty decent
Works pretty well. The small charger base makes it a little wobbly when charging but I don't have to use it because the charger plugs directly into the shaver body as well as the charging stand. The pop-up trimmer is nice to have on it.Once caution is you don't want to drop this thing as that would probably cause significant damage. That's the way a lot of electric razors are though, probably all of them.I just got this the other day so haven't used it that much yet. I might update after some time goes by.
