Had 9 months and stuffing bag is splitting
Loved that my dog loved it and covers come off and on easy. However, after 9 months of use the bag the foam is in has started to split. It is a mess when you take the cover off and I'm loosing filler. I can't find if they offer a liner. Cannot get a picture to load

Not LAZY-proof
First off... YES it's actually memory foam. All of it. Not some of it. It's shredded. Says so right in the top of the description under an ALL CAPS heading. Don't know why so many people are complaining about this after the fact. But this is a good thing because if it ever starts to sink just kind of fluff it up. Besides, I think the shredded is better for dogs than a solid piece would be. Solid would probably be too firm for most dogs. Second... That cat pee smell is 100% normal with memory foam. It usually goes away in 2 days but can sometimes take a few weeks. This is 100% normal. Google it. It's called off-gassing. None of the photos really do it justice. It's heavy. It's thick. It's REALLY big. My 100 lb dog and my 30 lb dog can lay on the XL size side-by-side with no part of their bodies hanging over... and without touching each other. It's made well. Only exception to this is that the zipper is a little on the small side for the XL size. Probably fine for the smaller versions. The zipper tag actually arrived broken. So, why 5 stars? Because as long as your dog doesn't chew on it... it's going to be a great bed... and when I told the seller... they immediately shipped me an entire replacement cover. Just be a little careful when you pull it in and out of the cover. For those complaining about the smell. The smell is common with high quality memory foam. Google it. It goes away after a few days. It is NOT cat urine... as one person here described. It is just the nature of highly compressed memory foam. It DOES GO AWAY. Also... if your dog is a chewer... how are you going to blame the bed? Several 1 star reviews were because their dog was able to chew it to pieces "too easily". Look. My own personal pillow is a high quality $150 down pillow. Made with ultra high thread count wrapper. Very high quality. But if I decide to start ripping at it with my teeth... it's gonna tear apart. How is that the pillow's fault? If your dog is poorly trained...then the problem lies therein... not with the mattress. Stop being LAZY and spend the time you need to train your dog. If you want a high-quality mattress for a reasonable price. This mattress is a good one. If you want a chew-proof place for your dog to lay down...buy a 1" thick rubber mat and then spray it with bitters. Because otherwise, you're going to be hard pressed to find ANYTHING that cannot be chewed apart. And true, this isn't IP-such and such waterproof. I saw several people upset about this. This is not meant to be used outside. But it DOES repel water and prevent soak through from the top. If you submerge it... it's going to get wet. C'mon now... who's writing these reviews. Anyway... this is a great mattress. To the manufacturer.... put on a heavier zipper. Otherwise.... Great job. I am not a reviewer. I didn't get a discount. I am not affiliated with the seller. I am not in any way associated with them. I just wrote this long review because these bad reviews ALMOST kept me from ordering this. Then... when I got it... I realized.... these guys are just too lazy to train their dog. This bed is made as well as can be expected aside from the zipper.

Wonderful bed for any dog, including those with major back problems!
Bought the medium sized bed for our 30lb. dog who'd been showing signs of back pain. I only had to lure him onto the bed once with a treat when it first arrived to show him what it was and that it's safe. Since then, he's always on it to either lounge or sleep. We put a soft blanket on it to help keep most of the hair off it while also giving him something that he can kind of nest in. We're pretty sure he sleeps easier through the night now since he doesn't walk around the place as much as he used to (at least before / after the bed rest situation described below). My decision to buy this bed actually came just in time as the poor guy had to go on about 3 weeks of bed rest shortly after I got it and after we found out it was more than just back pain. He experienced what the vets thinks are slipped disks in his back, which included some inflammation and pinched nerves that caused him to lose nearly all control of his rear for a while (so happy to say that came back with time and a cocktail of drugs). With it came a few times where he lost control of his bladder, too. I was super happy to see how water resistant the bed actually is and how easy it is to remove the outer cover from the bed and throw it in the wash. Due to the waterproof lining that I believe is just under the top side, his urine never leaked through to the bed casing of shredded memory. I even followed the tip to put a towel underneath the outer cover and on top of the bed of memory foam to help make sure the potential noise from the two different fabrics rubbing against each other wouldn't be an issue. That towel never got wet from his accidents either. Since the inner bed was perfectly fine, I was able to throw down a couple pee pads (just as a precautionary) with another blanket on top so he could continue to use the bed. The case has probably been in the washer and dryer a handful of times and is still in great condition. It's easy to put the cover back on the bed, too.He was released from bed rest after showing significant improvement, but we're really sad to say after about a week and a half of slowly increased activity he's back to being confined and on bed rest again. Thankfully he's not in as bad of a spot as the first time around, but it's heart breaking to see and we're trying to stay positive that it won't be a long term thing for him. We're both super happy I got this bed, though, as it's made the bed rest a lot easier for him while also providing us some peace of mind that he's more comfortable. This is a great bed made with great quality and highly recommended for anyone/pup in a similar situation. Really, for anyone who wants to make sure their dog has a comfy bed whether it's to avoid any arthritis or similar pain, or just to spoil them with a better bed than you.

Supportive but not too hard
Our dog, a border collie, has been very active his entire life. Recently diagnosed with osteo arthritis in both hips a new bed was in order. After mulling over different options we decided on this bed and have not been disappointed. He uses it quite a lot. I think the shredded foam allows a lot more give while maintaining a good 'cushion' underneath him. I have always found memory foam slabs quite uncomfortable to lie on after a while. There are 4 gusseted compartments to keep the pieces in place. The cover is soft and silky to the touch and easily removable...in fact one of the easiest covers to take on and off that I have come across. Our boy is 51 lbs and we ordered the large, he has smaller beds, but this one allows him the room to stretch right out.

Dog doesn't like it
I thought this would be the perfect bed but my dog won't lie on it. He doesn't like it at all and chooses the hard, cold floor over this bed. The bed is a bit lumpy but I was hoping that would settle down with use, however, it's just sitting in the corner collecting dust. The cover is nice and it looks well made, but it's not useful to me.

5 inches thick
I just received this today. Within 2-3 hours, it expanded to its full thickness of 5 inches. But I'm wondering why the mattress case is only 3.5 inches tall. I'm guessing that once the dog uses it, it flattens out a lot so the case only needs to be 3.5 inches tall. It looks like a pretty good mattress though. But I do find it's expensive.

Good dog bed for the price
My dog loves it, she slept on her new bed instead of on my bed the first night we had it. The cover is soft and easy to clean and the bed feels comfortable. I ordered size small and it was the exact measurements listed in the description. I didn’t notice any chemical smell, I saw that mentioned in other reviews. I would recommend this product.
