Great buy.
Really pleased with this ...I will use it with my planesphere and when walking/camping, if I want to be discreet or just not wanting to draw any attention. The settings (pleasingly) are markedly different in strength - the stronger is enough to navigate walking about paths and in the woods without dazziling out too far and the second is ideal for looking within close proximity. The lume is not great unless you hold it close to a bright light first - which sort of defeats the purpose of having a red torch iat hand n a lot of cases. The handle colour could be useful when locating in a low light as it is.In any case this is secondary to what you get as a torch. The size of the torch is really good, it's big enough not to compromise the performance we get, not sure of the battery life but with 3 (quality) AAAs in it should be decent enough. The clip is a nice addition (could work well hanging inside a tent ambient light) and it can be removed easily if you don't want it on.The end is flat and if you hold the torches face flat on your leg or elsewhere, it's very easy to blackout the light quickly. It's robustly built and feels good to hold. The only thing that would improve this is if was completely waterproof.Still an excellent torch that covers a lot of useful purposes.Thank you!

Decent quality, good value!
I bought this for astrophotography, as a nice cheap light that I could keep on me so it wouldn't be the end of the world if I lost it.It feels very well made, it's solid and there's a really nice click when you switch it on. One click for full power, another click for low mode, another to switch it off. Can't go wrong. The glow-in-the-dark wrap works pretty well, you can definitely see if when you drop it on the grass, obviously doesn't last all night but it lasts long enough to be useful. The throw is decent, not adjustable, but I think for its purpose it's good ie seeing what you're doing in the dark at relatively close distance. The main down side is that it's a very uneven throw, and it could definitely use a bit of diffusion. However, that would be easy to solve with a bit of tracing paper on the end of the torch. The carabiner and attached ring are cheap feeling but it's a cheap torch so that was to be expected. I think I'll be replacing those with a standard hand strap which is probably more useful.I haven't really tested the battery life yet but it seems to work for a pretty long time, so you shouldn't get stuck. I bought two of these just in case anyway, and it's not hard to carry spare AAA batteries.Overall it's a great torch, especially for the price, and it does exactly what it needs to.👇🏻 If you find this review or the photos helpful, please click the helpful button below!

Bright and Red
I've used this for stargazing for quite a while now, battery life is good enough for multiple nights of use and brightness is very good as well. Makes setting up and reading a planisphere very easy. The carabiner clip is also very useful for clipping onto a belt.It has two brightness settings which are cycled between with the power button, the only complaint is that the brighter setting is first which can be a bit of a shock going from pitch black to bright red.

Astronomy & General Night-time torch.
This was bought for Astrophotography and general Astronomy uses; e.g. when you need to see what you are doing in the pitch-black without ruining your eyesight! The first press of the button gives you the dimmest light, ideal for this work. The second press gives you the brightest red light; this could be useful if walking along a dark lane at night, facing on-coming traffic; just hold the light down slightly and still so drivers would think yo were a cyclist and be aware of your presence. It would be preferable if the torch had a 2-way setting switch, rather than having to go through the "brighter" stage before switching off. But, as long as you point the torch away from your telescope and eyes, you should be fine. It's compact and fits in the palm of the hand, as well as having a oval-clip fixed to the end so that you could clip it on your belt, etc. Overall, nicely made and good value.

Glow-in-the-dark rubber grip is a very handy feature. Poor quality (short life) on-off switch.
The glow-in-the-dark rubber grip turns out to be a very handy feature. The torch is very bright.I was satisfied with this product for just over two years. After about 2 years and 4 months, the switch at the end of the torch is failing, it no longer springs back, making it difficult to switch the torch on or off, complete failure appears imminent.Having investigated it is clear that the switch mechanism is very cheap. The torch was good while it worked, but I will now look for a better quality / longer-lasting product.

Tiene muy poca potencia.
Por la marca esperaba mejores resultos.Tiene muy poca potencia al momento de iluminar.En el mercado hay lámparas más económicas y con mejores resultados que está.

Glow in dark red light for night photography
Good light for the price. Like the glow in the dark. I found the red light not too bright which would affect adjusting to dark spots or affect the lighting for outings with other photographers.
