Works well after some slight adjustments
I decided to buy a light weight ebike and not one that was the most powerful. This is because I did not want to have to lug around a very heavy ebike if the battery went dead or I needed to transport it up the stairs. After checking out various options, I decided to go for the eAhora APUS 2023 as it is about 50 lbs and has a decent motor. After ordering on Amazon, the ebike was delivered on time. It was packaged extremely well and handled very well by FedEx who dropped it off in front of my garage. I unpacked it and set it up as per the instructions. The installation video I found on youtube was very helpful. It took me less than 10 minutes to unbox it and less than 30 minutes to get it all set up.Initially, there were a few problems after I tried to ride the ebike the first time.First, the battery was not latching into the lock due to the new design (it is different than shown in the amazon photos). I contacted the vendor. Freya, a company representative, responded quickly and had the factory send me a video showing that the battery needed to be "slapped" a little to make the lock engage where it would not slide out loose. I still put a soft velcro strap around it just in case it comes loose during turning.I noticed that the listing had stated the battery was 48V 20AH battery, the maual shows it as 48V 17AH battery, what I received was 48V 15AH model FP4815R0. I asked Freya and she said they made changes at the factory to make it safer. I was not going to cause a problem about this as long as the vendor provided good support, I was willing to overlook this. But you sould know that the battery you receive may be 15AH and not 20AH.Second, when I applied the brakes, I would get a slight vibration at speeds above 10 mph. I then adjusted the brakes thinking they may be misaligned. However, I found out that the wheel was not true and I had to order a spoke wrench tool on Amazon to adjust the tension on the spokes. After some time I was able to true both the front and rear wheels where they would spin free when the bike was put upside down and I rotated them with my hands. I could not true them any better and one day I will have to take them to a bike shop and have them true the wheels for me.I then took the bike for a ride. It rode very well. I could finally feel that I would be able to get back into riding a bike to help me get some exercise. The places where the ebike helped me is to go up some slight hills around the area. These hills would not be too much of a problem with a bike with 21 gears (well, particular when I was younger). Without the help of a motor, at my age, I had to struggle and felt that I would perhaps cause some damage to my knees. With the ebike pedal assist (PAS) setting of 2 or 3 I was easily able to get up the hills. I could now go farther than I could before just because the hills were easier to go up with the assitance of the motor. The motor let me get just enough assistance I needed without putting too much strain on my legs. I don't like using only the throttle by itself and I need to keep my legs working the bike. I'd rather ride my motorcyle if I just want to use all motor. The motor is powerful enough for riding up almost any but the most steep hills and mountains. There was also one small dent on the top tube. The factory insisted it was due to violent forces during shipping. But the bike was very well packed and it did look to be a defect from the factory where they had to cut a small rectangular section to affix a label on the top tube. I did not bother with it as it is approximately 4 mm pebble size and I am hopeful it is not going to be a structural issue. The other issue I found is that the handlebars are a little too low for me. I asked Freya for help and she recommended a stem riser but did state that using it would void the warranty. For now I am going to try and ride the ebike without the riser and see if I can get used to the low height of the handlebars.I was able to ride the ebike at a maximum of 18-20 mph while pedaling. The gearing is just not proper for anything above that speed if you want to use the pedals. The maximum speed on flat ground is about 22 mph. I did ask Freya if I could change the chainring to a bigger size but they don't recommend it or I may forgoe the warranty. Also the distance between the chainstay and the chainring seems small so I do not know how much bigger chainring would fit without issue. I will leave it as is right now and just get into riding the ebike below 20 mph (the problem is going downhill it pickes up more speed and you basically cannot use the pedals at all as you are spinning the pedals too fast). All throughout I was in touch with Freya. She was extremely responsive and helpful and provided me information I needed for spares or to find torque specs that are not in the manual. After the support I received from Freya I can recommend this seller eAhora Direct. I have yet to ride the ebike more and see its durability and after sales support after a few months of ownership. I am unable to ride much due to the cold weather and almost weekly rains in my area but I feel confident that the ebike is going to be very good for my needs. Therefore, at this time I cannot provide any information at this time on the range from the battery.

Great bike and mileage is great
The media could not be loaded. Love this bike so far. Have had for about 3 weeks, put 50 mi on it and the battery indicator only moved slightly.Cruses at 25 mph easily on paved road.I have take off road and the bike has no problem on trails. Plenty of power for hills. It took me about 1hr to put it together, not too bad.The bike did not come with instructions, but there is a video and manuals for the bike that you can download from eaHora.Their customer service has been great. I have contacted them a couple times with questions and they always get back the next day and make sure to take care of all your questions. The PAS system works great ???? It has levels from 1-5. I use it on 1 or 2 and it is perfect. The motor kicks in at just the right time to assist you when you need it.You can also just use the thumb throttle and ride it with no peddling.I am 64 yo male and I have no problems ridding the bike for as far as I want.I researched a lot of ebikes. And I am very glad I settled on this model. All the controls are easy to use and I have had no problem with the bike so far. Thanks eAhora !!

Massive W
The media could not be loaded. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT FOR ME. First of all this bike is 39.7lb without battery, 49.9lb with battery. Carbon fiber frame but the motor and all terrain wheels make up the weight. This have mechanical disc brake, 960 watt peak power, resulting in 31mph top speed, all under 1 thousand dollar is a great great deal. It’s very simple to assemble too, because it’s a quick release with front wheel. I was afraid that battery pack is gonna look bad but it actually look good in person. Definitely a very stylish and futuristic bike.

Great Beginner E-Bike
The Good: The price! I was looking at all kinds of E-bikes ranging from $1200-$5000 before I found this one. I almost bought the eAhora Juliet but this one is way cheaper and wayyy lighter It's light enough for me to carry it over my head if I remove the battery which allows me to squeeze by my car in the driveway easier. It's still 40 lbs and a bit awkward so it's doable but not as easy as with my regular bike. It has good acceleration. From stop lights I'm able to get to 20mph within a few seconds if I help it out by pedaling in top gear. This helps me keep up with cars of the line and I haven't gotten honked at yet lol. The battery is super easy to remove for charging. The Bad: The rear brake is very squeaky. I guess it does help people hear me coming better but it's kind of annoying. I'll see if I can adjust it. Battery life is meh. I did about 20 miles on my first day and it went to half on the screen. I guess it would be decent for short commutes but the power kinda dips once you get to half battery life. I do live in a hilly area so your mileage may vary. The seat is not comfortable. I ordered a cushier one right after I was done with my first ride and came home with a sore butt. The Ugly: The battery looks a bit ugly but it's a carbon fiber frame so they probably couldn't integrate it into the frame anyway.Overall pretty satisfied with my purchase but I think I'm going to want an upgrade within the next year or two.

Almost perfect
This thing is really cool. The finish on some of the edges on the frame is a bit not perfect but it works as it says and is a good bike all around.
