I was looking for a square tip since I am a little bored with the pointed or round tip. When I found these, I immediately looked for my size and ordered them and I can say it was not a disappointment. The 'cushioned insole' is a nice change from the hard insides of other shoes and does not make the bottoms of your feet hurt. As you can see in the pics, they are nice looking boots and the one showing the heel, that is wearing them OUTSIDE for long periods and have VERY little signs of wear compared the use and compared to other boots that I've seen on amazon where the soles are breaking/coming apart as these are NOT. They are true to size which is something I was concerned with going from leather to faux, but there is no problems with that. They keep a shine that looks like they were polished and buffed, yet they had Nothing done to them to keep the shine except a quick wipe with a damp cloth which is a real good advantage especially after constant wear since they arrived..(a shine is important and these keep that 'New Shine' look.) I would recommend these to anyone looking for a 'western style' without the all the way up the calf pull on and to anyone looking for a change in a nice pair of boots that CAN be worn for ANY occasion. I had a question about these after they arrived since I am not familiar with 'faux leather' and they were wonderful in response time (literally within minutes) and with answering my questions about how faux leather is. They take care of their customers and have a good product in these boots. The whole experience with wearing these and the seller assistance was outstanding and there should be more like this quality and service as the case is here. These boots are very comfortable with good quality. Leather made. Looks good on my husband. Fit as expected. Recommendable.

Comfortable and durable, but there is a powerful chemical smell on these shoes. We had to air them out and put scented dryer sheets in them for weeks to take away the odor they gave off.

I ordered these boots for my son who wants cowboy style boots to wear occasionally. I am not willing to get real leather boots given that his feet are still growing and these will not be worn a lot. These chelsea boots are made of PU faux leather. Time will tell how well they hold up. The soles are rubber which is nice for the anti-slip feature.They have a very defined wide square toe to them. The shoes are quite comfortable. The insoles have a little cushion to them. The boots are easy to wipe clean if they get dirty. These ankle boots are a nice middle ground between cowboy boots and traditional boots.
