A few years ago I starting only using ratcheting style belts. At first the leather strap options and colors were very limited. When I saw this come across as a recommended item I had to try it. The belt has a very nice looking carbon fiber-like appearance, it looks sharp and high end. The buckle is a nice flat black trim and the center has a subtle but noticeable pattern as well. I wear a 38” waist and this thing just barely works for me, however. I wish it was a bit longer. Every other ratchet type belt I’ve used has come oversized- like 44” long and you trim it to fit. This one was already trimmed at the 40” mark but there’s no way it would fit on a 40” waist.I did receive this item as a part of the Amazon Vine program, but my review is based entirely on my honest opinion of the product in use by myself, and has not been influenced by Amazon or the manufacturer in any way.

This is a fantastic rachet belt from appearance through functionality. The pattern on the belt is crisp & sharp looking, and works well with casual or more formal clothing. The buckle has a matte finish, and also has a little pattern that adds some visual appeal without being over the top. The color of the belt is nice as well, both the black exterior and brown interior have a smooth & even appearance.Construction of the belt seems to be very high quality. The leather feels smooth and flexible, and the buckle is surprisingly heavyweight. The ratchet mechanism is smooth and has a relatively soft sound when ratcheting (in comparison to a different brand ratchet belt I have, which clicks somewhat loudly when it's being tightened). If you need to trim the belt to your size, it also has inch-markings on the inside for easy reference.Overall, I think this belt offers great value. It looks great, seems to have superior quality, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

I wear slacks for work and always wear a belt, so a belt is important for me. I ordered the belt based on the description design. Upon opening the box, I was impressed with the leather style of the belt. I wear size 30 pants, and size 28”-36” fits me. I can cut the belt, but I don’t mind a long belt as long the belt is holding up my pants. The leather belt is stylish and durable. The belt does not have holes, so I can adjust the belt to my waist. The buckle reminded me of a military-style buckle. The buckle provides a strong clasp, so the belt does not loosen up during the day. Whenever I have to loosen the belt, I would adjust the belt, and since there are no markings like a hole, I have to estimate the proper placement. I have a creature of habit, so I like consistency. Overall, the belt is a good value, and the item description was accurate.

I got the same size as my other belts, but either my other belts have stretched out over time (which can happen with leather) or the size on this is a little bit small, so the result is that the belt is just a little too short for me to wear. But here's the good news -- this belt is extremely adjustable, so if you order a size that's a little to big, that's not a problem. So my advice would be to consider ordering a size up.The belt itself looks nice; the construction looks solid and the belt itself seems robust. The width is appropriate for jeans and khakis.

Got the size 28-36” in the black. It fits my son quite nicely. He’s in between sizes medium and large in men’s and this belt is great. No assembly required, but the buckle is removable in case you do order too big and need to shorten it. This belt is great for the price, I got a different ratcheting belt for my husband and it was twice the price. Now we’ll see if it lasts as long as the other belt has. Really nice attention to detail. The reverse side has markings on it to make a clean cut if you have to. I do recommend making sure you know how to release the ratchet before you put it on. Lol. The presentation was nice too, the box it came in was nice too in case you want to gift it. Quite happy with this product.

This belt is a nice belt. It looks great casual or a bit more dressed up. I use it around my church pants for Sundays. It is very simple and a simple easy design. It holds nice and tight. It should last longer than a normal holed belt. The holes seem to wear out too quickly for me and never seem to hold quite as tight. I like that this one can cinch up well and won't wear out holes. I thought it looked really nice as soon as I opened it up and will continue to wear it every week.

Outstanding dress belt, and very well made. High quality leather, well finished, with a very unique fastening system. The buckle is heavy-duty steel, with what appears to be a ceramic finish and a complex ratcheting system - the buckle has a ratchet with a quick-release lever that catches an imbedded strip on the inside of the belt, with a very positive lock. The strip appears to be nylon or carbon fiber, so wear remains to be seen, but it allows very precise increments of change. It has a broad range of adjustment, and the belt can be trimmed for a precise fit. The entire concept allows a solid buckle face with no holes or slots in the belt end to accommodate a non-existent prong, resulting in a very sleek, modern looking dress belt. The one minor downside is only one color - black. Recommended.
