I have mixed feelings about adaptors like this because I'm not fully convinced of their safety, but I think I'm just being paranoid, so that's not a factor in this review. I ordered this for a basement pull chain fixture that needs replaced. The pull chain mechanism has worn out, and while I like fixing things myself, I haven't quite gotten up the courage to fix electrical things that require actually cutting the power. Enter this handy dandy adaptor that not only has a pull chain but TWO sockets. This is actually where my first nitpick comes in, though. The included pull chain is SHORT. There is no effective way to actuate it without contacting the bulbs (unless you have them directed away from the middle). I'm using LED bulbs but sometimes their bases get hot ever if the bulb itself doesn't. I do like the directional flexibility - the sockets swing and rotate. But, I will have to extend the pull chain. Other than that, and the fact that it's really not attractive at all, I'm glad to be able to switch of the bulb(s) instead of unscrewing it. How's that for safety? Oh, the pull chain does allow for one or the other or both sockets to be on (or off). Overall, I do recommend it.

There is one socket in my kitchen that gives light, but not where I need it. This adapter lets me put two bulbs in and angle them where I need the light. The white color is fine, I wish I had the option to get it in black. While it works great for light, the pull chain is all but useless. It is super short and the knob on the end isn't removable. I had to take a hammer to it and break it off to add an extender.

We got this dual adapter in order to turn our basement into a play area for our grandkids. Our basement isn't that big and has a single bulb fixture in the ceiling. This adapter allowed us to use 2 disco ball bulbs that can now cover our entire basement with dancing disco ball lights. The grandkids just about lost their minds when we first turned it on for them. I have to admit, the lights are pretty cool.Bottom line, we could not have done it without this adapter.Recommended.

I have several of the camera lightbulbs, but the spotlight on them do not produce enough light for my needs. I was looking for a way to add a lightbulb to the same fixture. When I found this online, I knew I had to have it. The pull chain is very unique in that if it is pulled once, one light comes on. If you pull it the second time, the first light goes off and the second light comes on. If you pull it the third time, both sockets get power. The fourth pull turns all off. What a simple solution to my problem. I liked it so much; I have ordered another one for the same purpose (adding lightbulb for more light).

Bought this to considerable up the brightness factor in a dim fan light. Its one of those with the single light at the bottom area, not the multi light versions. Take the shade thing off, screw this into the socket, put in your better bulbs and turn it on. The sockets can swivel so you can get the light more in the area that you need it, no need to change out your existing fan light entirely, just adapt it to a brighter version.

I put two directional LED RGB lights in this and use them to illuminate a green screen to make the green more uniform on camera.The pull cord rotates through off, one on, the other on, and both on. Easy to adjust, but I wish the base had at least some rotation because it's kind of at an odd angle. Other than that, I can't ask for more than this, it's a great way to add more light to a limited socket situation.

Put this in my daughters closet and it works great. Her old light socket pull chain quit working and I didnt want to replace the entire socket assembly. This one is better in that she can have 2 lights in her closet now. Well made and price is awesome.

This feels flimsy but it works just fine. Does the job I needed done.
