A wonderful and relaxing way to spend your "Me Time"
I am the Dad of a 15 yr old who was born with Cerebral Palsy, is non-verbal, has Autism and several other diagnosis. With all of that you might picture him as a crippled boy in a wheelchair, my son is the exact opposite. He is a very capable almost 6’ tall young man. When he goes to bed at night “my time” begins. I usually spend it building something which helps me focus on something entirely different and is relaxing to me. This kit has been one of my favorite things to work on during “my time”. I can get completely lost in all of the little paper pieces, bobbles and bits that are used to create this fabulous little fantasy world. All of the illustrations used are top notch. Everything is printed very well on high quality paper. All of the wood board parts have gone together very easily so far and I do not expect any trouble continuing. If you like models, Dioramas, Doll Houses, or anything similar you will absolutely love this kit. It has been such a help with keeping myself grounded mentally a.d is super enjoyable. I can not recommend it enough.I tried to find anything at all that I would change about this kit. I came up with 3 minor observations/recommendations.1.The printed sheets are slightly larger than the inner dimensions of the box which causes the edge of the papers to bow and bend. This was not an issue for me because any wrinkles caused by the bending were near the unused edge of the paper. I could see this possibly causing a problem.2.The tool set included is of pretty low quality and would probably frustrate most builders. The only part of it I used was the tweezers. I used the tools and glues I already own and had on-hand to build my kit. I love the idea of including these items as it makes building kits so much more accessible for first time builders or new hobbyists but if you are going to included tools they could use a bit of an upgrade. The included box cutter/knife is really terrible as a parts cutter. I do not recommend using it all. Get an Exacto knife or Hobby Knife, you will be happier and safer.3.When I opened my kit one of the small bags container a bunch of small bobbles and bits had not been sealed well and came open during transport. It was not a problem to pick them up and return them to the bag but it is possible to lose pieces if your bags are not sealed. One tip is to use 2 types of glue. A good paper white glue like Elmers and some kind of tackier glue similar to Beacon 3-in-1 Craft Glue or Aleenes Original Tacky Glue which are easy to find and work very well. I used all of the glues mentioned plus Titebond Translucent Wood Glue. I used the Titebond on the majority of wood pieces. An absolutely brilliant kit for just about any hobby builder. Get One!

A Tiny World of Charm: A Rewarding Miniature Dollhouse Kit Experience
I recently finished assembling this delightful miniature dollhouse, and it’s been an incredibly rewarding project. This kit provides everything needed to create a cozy, detailed scene, reminiscent of a tiny library or study. The attention to detail is absolutely amazing—down to the tiny books, lamps, and delicate plants. The assembly process does require patience and a steady hand, but the instructions are clear, and the materials are high-quality. The wooden pieces fit together well, and the included lighting really brings the scene to life. When illuminated, it feels like you’re peering into a magical little world. The finished product is charming and perfect for display, adding a touch of whimsical charm to any room. It’s a wonderful project for anyone who enjoys hands-on crafting and is looking for a beautiful, intricate piece to showcase. Just be ready to dedicate some time and care to the assembly, but it’s absolutely worth it for the end result.

Really cute! But issues with wiring
I really enjoyed this project. The instructions were a little confusing at first but I adjusted. All of the pieces were included.... but then it came time to connect wires for lighting. The instructions list a red and a yellow wire... all of my wires were clear, and I could not find any information on how to connect them.

Darling and Fun!
This is my first foray into miniatures, and I have to tell you, I am *hooked*! Building this (and customizing it to my tastes) is so much fun, and a wonderful learning experience! This kit is nicely complex for its price, but not too complex for the reasonably intelligent crafter. Not included is enough sandpaper (there is one tiny square), glue (I recommend a wood glue), and paints (purely optional, but I definitely have painted a few pieces). What *is* included is a great heaping serving of creative inspiration! I have hardly begun to do this and I'm already planning future builds. The Magic Shop is truly a gateway into the magic of miniatures!

Get a better brand - this one is terrible!
This brand had the worst components, and it’s definitely not for beginners. The majority of flowers/foliage had to be hand cut out of thin tissue paper, then glued into beads that weren’t level so they wouldn’t stand alone (had to be glued into place). All of the paper products like sacks, boxes, and books had to be cut out and glued, whereas better quality kits like Cutebee have pre-cut stickers that you just stick to the wooden book blanks or wooden boxes. The furniture chairs, tables, cabinet and hutch didn’t snap together with nice little tabs - you have to glue the elements together as best you can (they are very fragile - felt more like cardboard than wood, and several of them broke while I was trying to free them from the template). And heaven forbid you glue the parts wrong and then the other parts (like the cabinet doors) won’t fit, so then you have to snap them apart and the super glue takes the colored paint and a hunk of cheap wood with it and it looks pretty awful after that! The plastic dome shows fingerprints like crazy and doesn’t stay snapped together very well, and if you make the mistake of trying to tuck it into the top to help it from riding up, it will pop your support beam off from the top that it’s super-glued into, which is very hard to fix! The wiring was a disaster; my husband had to buy these crimper thingies “butt connectors” to splice the tiny wires together because the flimsy sticker they give you to hold the wires together will NOT hold. This whole thing was an absolute nightmare to put together, so if you enjoy an experiment in psychological torture then this might be “fun” for you. Despite this, the end result DOES look good, but at the cost of your sanity - get a better kit! Cutebee has much easier kits that are better designed and have much more convenient features. My next kit to try is going to be the ROKR brand “Swing Ride”, so hopefully that one is more like the Cutebee “Magic Pharmacist” which was ridiculously easy-peasy and not like this monstrosity garden thunderdome. Happy crafting, friends!
