Her dance team is learning a Pom routine and they actually don't have good pom poms to do their routine with. They are using these really old set of poms that were given to them from the local high school several years ago. I ordered this pair to see how well they were made to determine which sets to order for her dance team. This set of poms has some significant weight to them. The strands seems packed full and really covers the pom area well. It is going to take some time to splay out the strands to make them look right as they are shipped with the strands all nice and flat so you really have to work the poms to splay them out. I do recommend that you trim the excess strand of the zip tie to prevent injuries. After looking at several sets of poms I would say that these are well made and I would recommend them to others. The current price point seems to be right in the middle of similar items on the market. There are some that are cheaper and there are some more expensive, but I believe that you get what you pay for...

Lovecheer 2PCS Metallic Holographic Cheerleader Pom Poms have a plastic baton, held together with zip ties. They are good quality, with no shedding, and come with a cute plastic bag for storage and travel. The only reason I deducted a star, is because you can see the zip tie sticking out of the pom pom. It can be easily trimmed though.

Metallic blue and silver pom poms that are fairly full and look great. There is a plastic handle they are attached to so the person holds the center exposed piece. I believe they are zip tied on and there is a long sharp piece in the middle of the pom poms but I'm sure I can trim it down. These won't be used for a professional purpose but for family play so they will work well.

I am very impressed with these pom poms! They're better than what my daughter received with her uniform. The handles are securely attached, and we had no mylar shedding at all. The holographic reflection on the mylar really adds to the sparkle.
