Brilliant movie

Biggest car wreck put on film at the time, fairly big ticket names of the time like the Carradine brothers, Stacey Keach, Bill McKinney and Dick Miller. Cameos include Martin Scorcese, Sylvester Stallone and Paul Bartel.A catchy soundtrack thanks to Bartel and the best porn groove funk background score i've ever heard from the era.Poor editing continuity and liberal use of overcranking film in some stunt sequences, but a fun brain out film.

Great film

Released around the same time as The Gumball Rally, they both have a pretty much the same story, same things happening but the Gumball is a good film and Cannonball is just boring and not funny.

Sadly I wanted Cannonball Run not Cannonball.... possibly my fault but I did definitely search for the correct film initially and it should have been clearer. cheers

Growing up in the 80's was a good thing because it meant my father had films like this on VHS.. A must have for any classic car or film lover.

a real blast from the past.any classic american car fan should have a copy.

This film is more of an action adventure car film than the Burt Reynolds Cannonball Run films. There are a few funny moments but it's not a comedy film. I haven't found this film on blu-ray but the DVD is passable quality. If you like car films and car chase films then you ought to add this one to your collection.
