Basic Nutrition pasture raised beef tallow softgels hormone free, pesticide free, non gmo, no fillers, 100% grass fed, and USA made. 3000mg per serving, but the “recommended dose” is 6 soft gels which seems like a lot to me, even though they’re small.These are very healthy and good for you but I recommend exercising caution. Know your medical history and specific diet. Don’t just take things blindly. For example; I have PCOS and a thyroid disorder. There’s a lot of mixed opinions in the medical community, but overall it is recommended to limit or avoid certain dairy or otherwise “inflammatory” foods etc. Aside from that, beef tallow is also great for your skin. It’s rich in vitamin A and D and also linoleic acid, which is a natural anti-inflammatory. However, the high saturated fat can tip the scale the other way into the “inflammatory” zone therefore—-moderation is key! So I take these as needed but it gives me peace of mind knowing they’re good quality.

It's simply 100% beef tallow, which contains many vitamins and nutrients.These are easy to swallow and I didn't notice any bad tastes.I do have high cholesterol so research said to be cautious about taking this so I am taking a lower dosage.I haven't noticed any effects, but this is more of a long-term benefit.

I've read about the benefits of grass raised beef fat which actually has "good" fat and is full of nutrients. Tallow is the fat "rendered" to remove anything that's not fat, so it's pure. First thing I did when opening the bottle was do a sniff test and can happily report there was no bad smell. I've been taking it for several days and there's no taste to the softgels and no belching. I haven't noticed any effects, but this is more of a long-term benefit, than something immediate. I trust New Zealand beef for the strict regulations there. This tallow is pesticide and hormone free. Also the softgels are made and packaged in the USA. Recommended.
