Every Law Student Needs a Haigh
I love this book and strongly recommend it for all law students and practitioners. Haigh provides a concise practical guide to the language of English law combined with practical skills. You can save a bit of time and pain by reading Haigh before embarking on specialised text books. I teach legal English and Haigh is the required text book. This is one of those books that you wished that you purchased right at the beginning of your studies - get it now.

Good book, but read my review before purchasing
Good book. But wait, the title can bring you to confusion. This book is not about Legal English "per se". There are not contents about Criminal Law, Civil Law, etc... It is aimed to achieve legal English skills: how to write a formal letter, how to use legal terms properly, how to speak up in a venue, etc. and it is written for non-native English speakers who need legal skills for professional purposes.

Very basic, not informative, and not worth the price
This book provides a very basic review of grammar and it makes me question if it is intended for those who already draft contracts? In my opinion, this book is written for the complete newbie with no legal background who struggles with English grammar. Personally, I believe the book is overpriced and should be priced around £12.99.

Useful as consultation book for basic doubts
Useful if you struggle with the differences between American and British ways. It’s clear, short and easy to find the information you’re looking for.
