IF you get these carabiners, just be aware that they do not have the strength or performance of steel or aluminium ones. The strength rating is much less, although they look big and chunky. Despite this, I managed to easily hang a 25kg weight from the carabiner, see my photo, without any issues.IN some ways they are better than the metal hook type. I've always had an problems with these, as the metal spring gate arms ALWAYS snags the rope or string if it catches the material. These plastic ones are much kinder to the rope and have less sharp edges to cause damage.Uses. Don't use these on anything of critical value if there is likely to be excess strain and tension. And definitely never for climbing or rope work on human activities. They are ideal for basic carrying of lightweight items, such as rucksack connections, keys and the like.I should point out that there is a slight skin pinch hazzard on the bottom hinge part of the opening spring arm. When the arm closes on its spring, if your skin has slipped in the gap, it will hurt on closing! be aware. Other than that, a cheap and effective way of lightweight connections.

These carabiners are strong and lightweight, perfect for using whilst camping to secure items.They do not have a locking mechanism for the clasp but the spring is strong enough to keep it closed.

These Carabiners come in a plastic bag with 12 in total and I got these mainly to see if they were any good for attaching a water bottle to my belt or rucksack as the metal one I'm using has a sharp point on the connector which always snags and is difficult to detach.On opening these my first impression was that they're ok but a bit cheaply made and wasn't sure if they'd be up to the job, however after playing with a few for a while, not only is the plastic quite hard and robust, but the spring on the opening is also really good and strong and they work very well for attaching to my belt and releasing quickly. Likewise if I use them on any bags or anything else they are quite good. There are a couple in the bag that are a bit loose on the hinge where the spring is and feel like they'd come apart under any weight so I don't think they'd be reliable but the others seem ok and whilst I wouldn't use them to attach anything expensive or for something I wouldn't want to lose, they're good for what I needed. At the time of review they cost £12.99 for the bag of 12 but I'd drop this by a couple of pounds to account for quality on a couple of them, otherwise not too bad.

They are very easy to use. I am very happy about them because you can always do what you want with them. They are made from strong and durable plastic.

The quality is very poor on these - weak, flimsy, I've bought others in the past from different sellers which were 10x better quality.

These are my favorite carabiners I’ve ever used. I put them in all my bags and soft coolers. They hold a lot of weight and are easy to use. They aren’t noises like some metal ones. I like the flat side that fits well on flat straps.
