PME Paste Colour Hot Pink 25 g

I have given 5* for flavour because there is NO flavour, which is what you want and expect from a food colouring!! I think this little pot will last me forever (I'm just a home baker) and using the cocktail stick works perfectly. A little goes a long way for sure and the colour is lovely. Have used in a sponge cake, as glace icing and in butter cream icing, worked well for it all. Highly recommend.

I love using colour paste for cake decorating as the liquid colours always make the icing too sticky, so this is perfect for using with icing without changing the texture. When using in the cake batter it makes the cake so much more vibrant than when using liquid colour. You only need the tiniest bit, I use the end of a spoon to dip in the paste. you can always add more to darken but honestly a tiny bit goes a long way. Will last for such a long time. Very pleased with these.

It's not as concentrated as I had hoped but nevertheless got the job done. Didn't change the texture of buttercream & I would use it again. Also, heating it deepens the colour but so does leaving it in the fridge for a few hours.

This was so easy to use, I just used a cocktail stick to add it to cake batter, I made a 6 layer cake of 6 different shades of pink with a pink ganache topping, it was perfect, I would highly recommend this colouring I haven’t actually tasted the cake yet but have been told it’s delicious so I don’t think the colour tastes bad

Used this for a birthday cake. Easy to use and didn't stain hands

Very small quantity required, use a tooth pick or something else small to take a small amount at a time to get desired colour. Perfect pastel shade of pink for coconut ice if added carefully. No doubt larger amounts will give an intense pink colour. No taste apparent.
