Based on secondary sources, with little, if any, archives research. I felt too many assumptions make up the thesis; behaviors and attitudes attributes to Sephardic influence apply to any Spanish region.

Truth about Catholics and Jews that has been ignored for a long time. Very important piece of knowledge.

This book does not show much evidence for its theory of Sephardic influence in Puerto Rican culture. The author babbles on about cultural traits that can be traced to Puerto Rico's inherent Spanish culture and offers some weak examples about how some of these traits can be a result of direct Sephardic influence in PR. I would not recommend this book.

Loved and enjoyed it from beginning. Author has great knowledge of the subject. Learned a lot.
