All the stars for this book! FROM PARIS, IN LOVE is pure perfection!
"You’ll never have to worry about losing your voice with me.”⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️All the stars for this book! FROM PARIS, IN LOVE is pure perfection! The Last Encore (Book 1 of the It's Always Been You series) was my favorite read of 2022. Ever since I read it, I added Elodie Colliard to my auto-buy authors list and I couldn’t wait to see what she had in store for us with Miles and Riley's story (book 2 of the series). I had a feeling it was going to be very good and, well, I was right! I loved absolutely everything about From Paris, in Love:🥐 Riley (the MFC): she is a force! She has been throuh a loooot, yet she is brave and perseverant. Definitely one of my favorite strong female characters of all times.🥐 Miles (the MMC): despite his own fears and insecurities, he is so caring and supportive. He is the man of your dreams. He is a rugby player, a supportive coworker, and an amazing friend. He can cook, he has flowers tattooed on his arm, and what about the way he winks?! My oh my, the way he winks! Someone give him the perfect book boyfriend medal, please!🥐 The romance: Miles and Riley make the perfect team! They uplift each other any chance they get and their story is truly empowering.🥐 The spice! I am telling you: the mutual pining, the chemistry, and the spice you'll find in this book are on a whole other level.🥐 The delicate and respectful way in which the author deals with issues such as domestic abuse and infertility.🥐 Chapter 14: and that is how I die. I can't say anything about it, because I don't wanna spoil it for you. Just trust me when I say it's goooood! Here are some clues: 🏈🎅🏻🗓 (iykyk).🥐 Avery and Josh's cameo.🥐 Every single secondary character. I need a book about Amy and Tyler, one about Peter and Myriam, one about Charlee, one about Rachel... ok, I think I made myself clear.🥐 Basically everything. From Paris, in Love is definitely one of my favorite reads of the year.

Sweetness in book form!
Elodie Colliard strikes gold again with her sophomore novel From Paris, in Love. See beginner of the book for content warnings. This story was so beautiful, especially the Parisian setting! Elo once again touches on some very heavy topics with great care. I feel like so many people will be able to identify with both Riley and Miles.Riley is now one of my favorite literary heroines! She knows what she wants and she’s not afraid to go after it. I love that she wants to create a space where she can help empower other women in business, and help make sure what happened to her never happens to anyone else.Miles, oh Miles. He’s had it bad for Riley since day one and I am HERE FOR IT! I love that he bakes to unwind, but honestly, who doesn’t love a man who bakes? It honestly makes me want to try baking my own croissants. I loved his reaction to Riley’s bakery surprise for him! This story is full of sweet moments and SPICY moments. Miles is possessive without being cringey and Riley is so confident. I also really loved the cameos from Avery, Josh, and Charlee, and I cannot wait to see how Charlee’s story unfolds.

I’d run miles for Miles
“You showed me what it was like to be listened to, to be heard without shouting,"I knew from the moment Miles was introduced in The Last Encore that I needed his story immediately. Elodie absolutely delivered with From Paris, in Love. Not only did she make my dreams of Miles come true, she gave him an absolute powerhouse love interest with Riley. The tension was divine. Their friendship was GOALS. The steam was delicious. And their individual stories were powerful. The obstacles they both had to overcome in order to be fully open with one another felt genuine and it was super refreshing.I could not put this book down and when I was finished, I wanted to start again because I wasn't ready to say goodbye. That being said I'm not sure my heart could have taken it. However... Miles may just be worth it!

such a warm and fluffy read that makes you smile!
miles and rylie were so cute together, i love them 😩i really enjoyed that it was set half in a lawyer setting and half in Paris, having two completely different locations really helped develop their relationship. miles was so supportive of her and im so glad they started their firm together.the small moments were one of my favourite parts of the book, the cooking classes 🥟 and when she set up the pastry 🥐 baking class with his favourite chef awww! i loved happy the dog, tyler and I’m so excited for Charlee’s book!!both characters supported eachother and listened to eachother insecurities and it made for such a great relationship between the two. i also LOVED how she was a powerful business woman, so inspiring to see and i absolutely adore her. this book was so cute and fluffy mixed with the right about of depth.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
Elodie has the most beautiful covers on her books, but the plot inside is just as beautiful!!For Riley and Miles, it’s always been right person, wrong time. When they first met as coworkers, Riley was in a verbally abusive marriage, and they formed a close friendship instead. Years later, when Riley finally got a divorce, her and Miles decided to open their own PR firm, and as business partners they couldn’t be anything more than friends. Their timing always seemed to be off, but for Miles, it’s always been and always will be Riley. For years he has always offered her a safe space to feel empowered, strong, and capable when outside forces tried to dull her shine. But when they’re hired by an client wanting to go international, they’re forced to go on a work trip to Paris together. And the city of love makes the invisible string tying them together so hard to resist. From Paris, in Love is the second book in the It’s Always Been You series, but you don’t have to read the first book before you enjoy this one! (Though I highly recommend The Last Encore!)Riley’s character development in this book is so empowering. We watch her find her own voice in this book, and find a platform to help other women who have been in abusive relationships. The way Elodie took on Miles’ infertility was absolutely beautiful and raw and real. I just wanted to wrap him in the biggest hug and remind him that his worth isn’t in his ability to father a child.Riley and Miles relationship was so special. Their years of friendship built such a strong base of trust and love. They truly took each others broken pieces and created something beautiful together. If you like a slowburn book with delicious tension, a sweet friends to lovers trope, and two people who just are meant to be, this book is for you!!
