The media could not be loaded. I disagree with the other reviews I believe the filter is durable ,sturdy and very well functional wise. Easy to clean and stays at a low noise when running haven't had any issues I believe it's worth the price.

So it works..but it clogs up so fast. So if your tanks is dirty just expect to be taking the filter apart and cleaning it out very often. I think it works better for maybe smaller fish who doesn't have very much waste, where as I have large goldfish about the size of a hand. It comes with absolutely no instructions. It's not noisy at all.

I am pleased with the results of this filter. A great feature is that it holds many different types of filter materials. I have noticed a significant improvement in my aquarium’s overall water clarity.It also has different attachments to change the water flow such as the rainfall bar, adjustable aeration attachment, and the 2 different wave making attachments. It is VERY powerful, so you have to take this into consideration with your tank’s size and inhabitants. It has a lot of flexibility and features similar to that of a canister filter.As far as directions, they were a little vague, but I was able to figure everything out without too much difficulty by just looking at the pictures and its description.Overall, I would recommend this filter. I like its versatility and it appears to be doing a very effective job keeping my aquarium clean.

The propeller is wonky and I cant find any numbers to call to get a replacement propeller. Pass on this filter. I'm on the 3rd. It is now doing the same as the others. The propeller is making noises, occasionally just stops turning. Zero customer service.

The media could not be loaded. If you’re on the fence about this product don’t think twice and buy it! I have a red eared slider and turtle owners know their tanks can get really dirty. So far I’ve had this filter for three weeks and this is the clearest Shell-Don’s tank has ever been. My only complaint is the lack of instructions but the reviews for the product were super helpful. If you own a turtle tank and you keep the water level half way…filter goes sideways.

This is the the dumbest filter ive ever gotten. The instructions are absolutely no help. Its got all these parts that make no sense and go no where. The water control is just for looks, its one speed. And the water power is so hard it just shoves the rain tool right off. The cord barely makes it down the side of my tank, let alone to a damn outlet. Its built so cheap that when you try to turn the water pressure (that doesn't work) , it pops the entire filter bottom off! Not very happy. It better filter good at the least.

The media could not be loaded. Works great! First order I received a broken filter then return and get the good one. Good filter as it maintains the beneficial bacteria in fish tank, and clean nicely.
