Very handy items to have if you're needing to use a bike with cleat pedals fitted but not wearing cleated bicycling shoes.These sturdy plastic Adapters fit in my Shimano M520 quite nicely and allow a little lateral wiggle for comfort. You'll have to snap them in quite carefully to avoid chewing off part of the plastic locator lugs, especially if you have the cleat clamp tension at maximum. I'd question the longevity if you were fitting and removing frequently as the plastic lugs would wear down. I see these adaptors as either being for incidental use or fit and forget.In use, they provide reasonable support and have a slightly grippy upper face for footwear contact. I wouldn't want to use them for long distances with soft soled footwear especially if you have wide feet as they are only 60mm wide compared to ~115mm width of my Size 10 trainers - I expect foot fatigue would result quite quickly. If, however, you somehow lost a cleat mid ride (or more likely a cleat fixing screw) you could snap one of these in place to get you home. They are extremely light and just about small enough to be stowable somewhere in a bike repair kit...as long as you aren't one of those cyclists who obsess over every gram.

Habe die Adapter für einen Ergometer mit SPD Pedalen von Shimano gekauft. Die Teile sind top wenn man erstmal herausgefunden hat wie diese zu montieren sind. Dafür muss man die Pedale erst abschrauben und den Rastmechanismus auf so weich wie möglich drehen. Dann auf den Boden legen, Adapter schräg von oben einsetzen und dann mit einem Fuss draufstehen so dass dieser hinten in das Pedal einrastet

Solid construction. These fit my SPDs perfectly.Would like to see a reflector on these in the future, for added visibility at night.
