This stuff has nothing to do with apples or butter. It is a thin, gooey substance which seems composed entirely of chemicals! It has ZERO calories and ZERO taste. It is simply a non entity. It has: "apple extract color". In other words, another chemical. That is the closest you are going to get to apples with this brown slime. This is a ripoff. Don't be fooled. And I can't even return it! I admit, I wasn't expecting much , but I figured it would at least taste like apples and be spreadable. Neither is true. You put it on with a spoon, for it is a thin brown slime. This is a shameful product for amazon to be peddling.

This is not apple butter under any stretch of the imagination. It’s basically apple jelly with way too much artificial sweetener. The taste is horrid, it doesn’t spread well on bread, and when it gets warm it kind of separates into water and mildly applish goo. I didn’t even try to give them away- I just threw them out. No more WaldenFarms for me- I keep trying their products hoping to find something they make that is ok, but it’s all terrible….

This is not traditional apple butter, rather the consistency of jelly. And not eligible for return. Disappointing. Plus not much taste.

Very disappointed. This Apple butter is like colored water in a jar. Very light flavor. No consistency, very hard to spread, it’s like applying water to toast.

Too sweet. Lumpy mix. Nothing like apple butter at all which are the biggest product headline on the label. You can’t get a refund for this awful product.

Pricey but good.

These arrived and were leaking all over in the bubble wrap. Also, it is very gelatinous in the jar with liquid spilling out.
