Gran pantalon

Fit a little small, otherwise very nice pants
I own a pair of Prana Brion pants that I love, so I thought I'd try a different style. These look great and feel great, and are durable. Unfortunately, I bought the same size (38) as my Brion pants, figuring they'd fit the same, but instead they are much tighter around the waist. They loosen up after a bit but are still tight. Guess I need to lose a few. My wife made fun of me and told me to put on something that fit better.Make sure to buy a size up, I think. Also, after a run through the wash they came out with a bunch of very light, gray-ish streaks. The streaks looks as if they aligned with creases in the fabric (you know how your pants get all crumpled up and creased in the wash, before they are fluffed up again by the drier?). I have no idea what caused it, and none of my other clothes have them except for a pair of light Hudson jeans with a similar fabric.

Second pair, I love them
I needed a pair of rugged pants for regular use outdoors with animals, but still professional enough to use in a workplace. These pants are perfect for that, coming with a handy fifth pocket for your cell phone ('media pocket') on your right hip, deep pockets, and double belt loops in the center of the back of the waste, which reduces the curly you get with pants falling below your belt. They're also extremely comfortable. I will continue to purchase these pants for work, hiking, and camping - I find that they are superior to traditional cargo pants/tactical BDU pants.

Wear Like Iron.
These are my go-to work pants. I'm always kneeling in the rocks and the dirt to look at weeds and insects (I work in an ecology lab). A few weeks of that will put a hole in the knees of american eagle jeans. These ones have survived two entire summers and, other than turning slightly sun-bleached, they aren't worn out at all. These really do wear like iron. The reason for the deducted star is that they did lose the front button (it's just sewn on) within the first couple months. I wore them with just a belt for a long time, but I recently replaced the button (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005JYXDN8) and now they're stronger than ever.

Nice!
Nice fabric has a some stretch to it to allow a bit of give with movement. Does not wrinkle as bad as other pants, moves well, and fits well. I can get away with it for casual work wear and has served me well in fairly warm weather. Haven't put it to too much abuse, so not sure how they will wear over time since the fabric feels a little thin. It does not feel as thick as most all cotton pants, but the comfort outweighs the potential lack of durability. Some of the most comfortable pants I have. Only big downside...Made in China (unlike some other Prana clothes).
