Outstanding assignment
Unfortunately I can't attest to the longevity/durability of these disks because it's very cold in my workshop right now and therefore I have no ongoing projects or any need to sand anything. But that will change and when it does I'll probably be very happy having received this set. This is clearly a comprehensive mix of abrasive grits that are well suited to woodworking and wood finishing tasks. Each grit is individually wrapped and every disk is marked. You get 100 disks and the quantity of each grit is determined by the likelihood it might be used. For this reason there are fewer of the course and very fine grits and more of the meat and potato grits most generally used for wood. If you have to knock down an old layer of paint you've got 60 grit for that, or if you really need to polish something you've got 1000. In the middle there's all the choices you need for sanding wood, hard and soft, to any desired level and you get plenty of each. Again, these look like really nice disks, but I've not used any yet. They are heavy and not thin and flimsy like some. I'm anxious to give them a spin, get it? But it has to warm-up quite a bit before that can happen. If you do a lot of sanding, or even if you don't, I suspect you'll be very pleased and satisfied with this assortment.
