First off, this bowl is beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. The lid does not fit as well as I expected, both the bowl and lid have grooves that don’t really line up together. But I guess it fit ok, but rather loose. The base of the bowl fits great in my stand mixer. I have another glass mixing bowl by Kitchen-aid that does not fit nearly as well and I have to watch it carefully because it has become disengaged before. This one is snug and secure. You will most definitely need to adjust the height of the beaters because all of my beater attachments hit the bottom of the bowl when the head is lowered. It’s an easy adjustment but it needs to be significantly raised. This is probably because the bowl is so very thick. Which leads me to the other issue I have with the bowl, it is extremely heavy. So is the lid. I expected heavy, but not HEAVY. I have not used the bowl in the oven yet.

Purchased this for Christmas. Bowl was used only twice. We made bread last week in it using only hands and whisk and also didn’t even put it in the oven. We went to move it today on the counter and it just fell apart! Tried getting in contact with seller and can’t find anyway to get in contact.

I'd held off on getting a glass bowl for my Kitchen Aid mixer mostly because they're just so incredibly expensive. But, I finally bit the bullet and ordered this one because it looked so beautiful.When it arrived, I was surprised by the size of the box it arrived in. It was incredibly well packaged and protected by large layers of high density foam. The first thing I noticed was just how heavy this bowl is. I was concerned that the beaters might crack or chip it, but judging by the heft and thickness of this bowl, I'm not worried about that at all.I don't make a lot of bread, but the lid is a very nice touch, even if you're not doing bread proofing. It makes traveling with the bowl easier and it keeps things fresh in the fridge as well.This is an absolute TANK of a bowl. Assuming I don't drop it, I can't imagine it breaking anytime soon. It really is fantastic.

The mixing bowl with cover is heavy, weighing approximately 11 lbs. The material is a thick glass with many faceted cuts that produce lovely refracted light as in a crystal bowl. The main reason I ordered this product was because of its dual purpose: use as a mixing bowl or to use as a bread cloche for artesian bread.I have used the bowl for mixing cake batter. The bowl was heavy to lift with the batter. The bowl does not have the side handle. Instead, the bowl has two top handles which requires you to hold them to pour the batter into the cake pans.I enjoy baking bread during the cooler weather. This bowl is perfect for preparing bread dough and cookie dough. Using the glass cover will provide the warm and moist atmosphere for the rising and resting process of the bread dough. The covers sits secure on the bowl (no tightening required) to prevent it from sliding off. Most importantly for me, this set converts to a bread cloche.The glass cover is very thick and functions as the bread baking pan for the bread dough. The inner diameter of the bread pan is 8 inches wide and 7/8 inches deep. Although it is slightly smaller than expected, at least I can shape the bread dough to fit on the bread pan. Because of the transparent glass, I will be able to view the bread baking process.This is a very nice multi-purpose mixing bowl set but it may be heavy for some users. You can use it for preparing cake batter, bread dough, cookie dough or for food storage. You can also use the glass cover as a serving tray. Although the inner diameter of the bread pan is smaller than expected, I am very satisfied with this product.

This is a beautiful, functional addition to my KitchenAid stand mixer! I was not expecting the bowl to be so think and durable. The lid is a perfect addition for those cookies that require mixing then placing in the refrigerator to cool. I absolutely recommend this bowl!

I have made two loaves of bread using this bowl and I have not been disappointed. It fits my 5.5 KitchenAid without a hassle. It stays in place without shaking. I haven't used it above speed 4, as there has been no need. I have heard of other glass bowls that shatter when the mixer is used on a high speed, so I will be avoiding high speeds. I like that I can mix, proof, and bake all in one bowl. The bowl held up just fine for the 1 hour at 400F for two loaves of bread. I am really impressed with this bowl. The glass is thick and looks like it will hold up well. I am looking forward to many years of use!

So I ordered this glass bowl for my kitchen 8 button also to aid my bacon passion so far it had been really out of the charts because the build quality and the heaviness is there one can say that it is really durable can't stand for quite long but of time in I can comfortably need the dough for bigger better cakes if I want to so in that aspect is really takes off those all options I think it's also suitable to use it for even normal use when not making but using some I would say using as a big salad bowl how to decor option one thing that I think it's missing is to really have a late or cover along with the typewrapping really icing on the cake because that would cover or let the dough rest for a good amount of time that would have been really good companion along with this but other than that I think the quality still there and I think the price beats in it

J’ai reçu ce magnifique bol de pétrissage avec couvercle de la marque Kitchenaid qui s’adapte parfaitement à mon robot.J’apprécie grandement le design tout en transparence et la qualité du verre. Celui-ci est très épais et très robuste.Il est un peu lourd donc il faut le manipuler avec précaution.L’intérieur du bol est lisse et la préparation ( pâte..) n’accroche pas au paroi.Le couvercle est un plus, il est vraiment pratique. Plus besoin de film alimentaire et de torchon pour faire lever les préparations, j’ai testé des pâtes à pain et des pâtes à pizza et elles ont bien levées, que se soit dans le four à faible température ou à température ambiante. Pour la cuisson, je n’est pas encore testé.L’ensemble est facile à nettoyer, de plus il passe au lave vaisselle donc RAS, je valide et je recommande, la qualité est bien présente.

Ich hatte mich total auf die Schüssel gefreut, endlich alles in einem. Das Kneten in der Schüssel und Teig gehen lassen mit dem Deckel waren auch super toll. Als es dann in den Backofen ging, hört und sah ich nach einigen Minuten bereits einige Risse und ahnte was mich später erwarten würde. Nach dem Backen zersprang dann alles in mehrere Teile und die Freude war dahin.

idéal pour cuisiné votre pain car le bol se monte effectivement sur le robot mais également pour la cuisson car il passe au four et vous permettra de réalisé de magnifique pain maison.Le bol et il faut l'avoué d'une grande qualité fourni avec son couvercle qui permet la fameuse cuisson sous cloche.Il est très jolie et me semble tout aussi solide.
