I have a footrest in my home office and wanted to buy another for my work office, I saw this was available and decided to take a shot.My first impression was not great, it’s almost entirely plastic with exception to the fabric / pillow top and the metal adjustment rails. The overall finish of the product does not look very good, you can see a lot of seams and little edges that need a little attention from the manufacturer but it will mostly be under my desk so not a huge issue. The plastic does ensure this product is lightweight and easy to move but I plan on placing it under my desk and essentially leaving it there so I don’t need this to be lightweight.The important metric for a footrest is comfort, which is actually great! The padding is firm but not uncomfortable. I like the level of adjustment this footrest offers, you can adjust the angle and height independently. I set it up to the height and angle I found comfortable and it’s supporting my feet without issue. It’s easy enough to adjust but does require two hands or a foot and a hand because the lightweight means trying to adjust it moves/lifts the entire unit. I’ve also noticed the spring-loaded locking mechanism will occasionally miss on one side so when you adjust it one side is locked and the other moves, it’s simple to move the one side up so the lock engages but somewhat annoying.I would recommend this product if you don’t mind the mostly plastic construction, it’s comfortable and works well enough if you're not constantly adjusting it. You may be able to find a more suitable option or better deal.

This footrest has a handle making it is portable. There are two covers, so that you can wash one and still have one to use. The padded top makes it comfortable to rest your feet and ankles on.The only tricky part for me is getting the bottom part to open it. I was trying to pry up where the handle was. Turns out that you pull down on the base. Once I figured that out, it was easy.The only issues is the pieces that stick out to go into the grooves to set up where you want it to be, are not very big. You have to really make sure that they are in the proper slots or it can just close up on you.There a lot of different ways to use this footstool. Just slightly raised, set it at different angles, lean your legs against it or way up to stretch out your legs, and have your feet out in front of you.I have issues with my knee and hip. Having some support should help alleviate some of my pain.The stool is supposed to support up to 120 pounds, I think that it could even be used as a seat for a child or a small adult.It comes in a cardboard box, so it is easy to wrap if you want to give it as a gift.

I got this for underneath of my home desk. My job is a little bit stressful and I need to relax often and as much as possible. The ability to put my feet up definitely helps with that. That says it adjusts quite easily and I love the I'm able to set a different angle. There's an extra cover included so that I can wash one while using the other. Still I'm kind of bougie so I did throw a Turkish tea towel on top of it. The handle makes it really easy to move it around. It's not really moving anywhere else than under my desk but it's pretty easy to move it from one side to the other because it's so lightweight. I do worry the overtime the plastic is not going to hold up but for now it seems very sturdy and it definitely gets the job done.

The media could not be loaded.  I liked the fact that this Scalebeard foot rest is adjustable. It has four adjustable height positions and three angle modes. There was nothing to put together, thankfully, and it was ready to use out of the box. There was a bag of felt feet to put on the bottom to help keep the foot rest from scratching any wood floors. The first time I tried to raise the foot rest and adjust the angles, it was a bit challenging and stiff. But after several times of raising and lowering, the hinges loosened a bit and it was much easier. The foot rest also comes with an extra cover for the pillow/pad, to accommodate washing. The pillow/pad is reasonably comfortable.There are a few cons to the unit, from my point of view. For one, I have to completely open the panel to close it. This isn't a big deal, but a release button might be a better option. It's also important to make sure it catches at the height/angle you want, otherwise it will collapse once weight is put on it. The instructions note to press the panel down gently to make sure it is in the right slot.Overall, this is a nice foot rest with multiple options for adjusting and it will work well under my desk.
