My stepson bought a small air fryer a year ago. He has a microwave and a range/oven. but he uses the air fryer for just about everything. I decided to get one and try it out. Cooking is not as fast as with a microwave, but faster than an oven. Hamburgers and steaks are very fast and come out terrific. The splatter mess is all self contained inside the air fryer, but cleanup is a breeze. Nothing seems to stick to the cooking drawer. I am still learning all the capabilities of the air fryer, but except for very large meals, who needs an oven? This is a 6 quart model, plenty large for lots of french fries or chicken. And reheating cold french fries or leftovers--wow! I was initially thinking that this would be an occcasional use appliance, like a mixer or bread maker. But mine is out on the counter next to the microwave as it is a definite go to cooking appliance.

After hearing how quiet my daughter's air fryer is I WENT AND BOUGHT MYSELF a new one....ours are the same model......but I've been using mine at home a LOT since before covid....... THIS ONE IS EXACTLY the same as my other air fryer, but it's SO QUIET AND EFFICIENT.Perhaps I just worked my first one too hard and it was getting ready to konk out. :)

I bought this for a gift and was very disappointed. We tried all your helpful hints and did them 3 times. It still gave off a very strong chemical smell that even with all the windows opened in the house lasted for days. We even did that last two times outside on patio. As for my friend she does not ever want to try one again . I have one and use it almost every day. Very dissatisfied.

It’s ok as a fryer. Although 6 Qt can’t fill even half the basket or it won’t cook properly. Also you can’t place it at the back of a counter because the heat and steam that it spits out the back will burn your upper cabinet bottoms. It is also quite loud.The final mail in the coffin is after about 2 years of infrequent use the handle just came off trying to pull out the basket with hot food. The company doesn’t sell replacement parts, they offered 25% off a new unit. Not worth it. Will never buy this brand again.

Worked great for a year before the door switch got wore off so now lights just flicker and kicks right back off. Tried messing with the switch but seems like the motor for the fan went bad. Going to try a different brand this time

I love this Air Fryer purchased it Brand New 2 yrs ago and with proper maintenance it will last long time. I use it for Air frying Chicken wings, fries, onion rings, egg rolls are my favorite things to cook in mine. It has paid for itself worth the money.
