Does the job
Used them as additional guys for my caravan awning.

Nice and strong but question mark on abrasion resistance.
Guy ropes seem to be a foot magnet in that everyone passing by your van seems to trip on the awning ropes. These very bright yellow ones are much easier to see than the normal dirty white ones that most of us have and so I am hopeful of less collisions in the future. They are also quite a bit thicker than my old ones and this too should aide visibility.I only needed two ropes for my awning and so it was time to get inventive with the other pair. I have an old fashioned clothes maiden that is fixed to the ceiling and which is lowered and raised by two ropes on a pulley system. I like this maiden because it saves putting on the tumble dryer and isn't in the way at all. It doesn't take up any space that I could use for any other purpose. There is one drawback however , and that is it is very hard on the rope. There is a fair amount of friction and a poor quality rope is soon worn through and may fray and snag or break altogether. Neither of those eventualities is very desirable when you have a maiden full of wet clothes. When I decided to use this cord for the maiden I took it outside and tested it's abrasion resistance by rubbing it up and down on the corner of one of the house bricks. I wouldn't say that it's the most abrasion resistant rope that you can find but for a braided material it was fairly impressive. I am hopeful that it will give good service in it's new role but if not then I can't have any complaints because it is being asked to do a job that it was not supplied for.One big positive is that it is just the right diameter to fit snugly in the grooves of the pulleys and that should help to protect it against getting trapped between pulley wheel and casing. When that happens it is a recipe for damage to the rope.I feel that £8.99 (at the time of review) for four ropes at 4 meters each and including tensioners is a reasonable price and if , like me, you don't need them all then I am sure other uses will be found.

Good product and should do the job well.
We go away in the motorhome a lot and always seem to need this type of product but never remembered to order some! Anyway, this rope is just right, feels good and strong with plenty of reflective material so that it can be seen at night. We will give it a go at holding down the sun shade and if it fails which I doubt it will, I shall report back.Four out of five.

4mm-thick rope
WHAT YOU GET: You get 4 pieces of 4m long rope. The rope is braided tightly so that it will not unwind itself.THICKNESS: The rope is about 4mm thick.STURDINESS: Upon first impressions, this rope seems nice and sturdy, and decently strong for their purpose of holding up a tent. I say decently strong rather than very strong because I wouldn't trust a 4mm-thick piece of rope to hold my own full bodyweight, but that's not what it's meant for! I look forward to testing its sturdiness and durability more long-term to see how it holds up over time.QUALITY: I like that it doesn't seem to have any loose threads of anything like that - apart from on the very ends where there is a tiny bit of fraying, though I think this is quite normal. Any fraying at the ends is held at bay with a knot.OVERALL: I know this is meant for camping purposes, but I'm looking forward to using this rope in the garden to hold up a trellis and to hold up some plants that need support. Hopefully it will last well when exposed to the the elements over all the seasons.

Grate for the job!
Very bright yellow meaning you won't trip over them, more than enough length, and come packaged very nicely! Brilliant for replacing lost string or wanting to improve the quality of your old worn out tent string!

Bright yellow guy ropes
Many tents come with black guy ropes that are difficult to see in the dark. These yellow ones are the perfect solution. They're good quality and don't work loose once tightened.

Sturdy
This is strong, sturdy and very visible. It's been used for camping and withstood strong winds. Definitely recommend.

Very bright, 4mm thick, good value.
Super brightly coloured so very visible and easily seen, you get four at four meters long so good value for money, it looks like they will last as normally the ends fray but they look very tidy and well made much better than my old ones, very pleased with them.
