We live in the country and need several access gates locked. Occasionally a contractor or utility needs access. Not only are their keys for this lock, but it has a combination that you can change anytime. I have 4 of these locks. 1 on a horse panel gate. 1 on a chain link walk through gate. 1 on a wood, privacy fence gate, and 1 on a drive through chain link fence gate. The long chain makes it easy to wrap the lock as tight or loose as we need on the various gates. I can now give the contractor the combo, come home and change the code. These are good thick chains with fabric over them. I don't pinch my fingers when putting them on. Combo is easy to change, and having a key for quick emergency, when you have forgotten your code is a blessing. The key works the right side of the lock, the combo, the left. That means if you give the key to someone, they can not change your combination on you. Keys are good solid keys. I will buy 2 more to lock our trailer hitches.

I needed a heavy duty lock , to keep My Mountain Bike safe . This lock is not only sturdy , but it is very smooth when working the combination dial.

This lock is fantastic. I will start off by saying it is HEAVY and that's a good thing. Also the ability to set your own code and use a key or the code is a life saver for those who know what I am talking about. I don't think anybody would get away with stealing a car with this thing if it was strapped to a light pole. They'd end up taking the light pole with them! Convenient, you can just wrap and lock around bike frame when your riding or throw it in your backpack. Highly recommend and will be buying for every other bike I own.

At this price point, I wasn't expecting much but this lock has really surprised me with its quality. I am using for my daily Citibike rides to the post office. I like it better than a U-lock because it easily plops in my messenger bag and it's flexible to hook up to the nearest fixed object. (I may also be influenced by the cheerful orange.)

Works perfect. My son used for when he rode his bike to camp every day this summer. It is a little heavy but he put in his backpack for the ride to and from and was fine.

Got this for my e-bike the lock is sturdy and strong, and I like the length it's perfect for 2 bikes, the cloth around the chain is good quality the lock is easy to set, and you get keys as well if you happen to forget your combination. good purchase.

The lock only worked fine for two weeks when suddenly, it WOULD NOT open up when the code was entered. I noticed that three of the four number wheels would make a click sound, so I am assuming one of the wheels stopped working. Well, that's crappy, but at least the lock also came with a key ... except that two weeks later, the key is stuck in the lock after opening it. No matter what I do, the key will turn but it will not loosen from the lock. And the key is also a cheap piece of crap because it started bending and is getting misshapen after three attempts to free the key from the lock. Don't waste you money ... it's JUNK!

Good heavy duty chain and lock seems strong. Am using to lock a gate into the forestry from our field, so the length is perfect for gate and strainer

Super einfach einzustellen. Passt perfekt um das Fahrrad an Laternen oder anderen festen Baulichkeiten zu sichern. Auch mehrere Fahrräder sind schnell gesichert.Tolle Idee das es auch zusätzlich einen Schlüssel hat. Würde ich wieder kaufen. Klare Kaufempfehlung.
